Here s a good idea ... Seen as how the vast majority of our car exports go to the EU, how about we align all our specs and regulations with the EU.
But of course that would be out of the question for Brexiteers wouldn't it, we have to have BRITISH rules, even if it damages our industry and exports.

Don't be daft SFiddler, we do what we did before the we joined the EEC and make cars to suit whatever country we're selling to.

How are "we" going to do that when every car manufacturer for the mass market in the UK is foreign-owned? Without capital we don't get a say in it.

I’ve heard some pretty bad reports about Chinese EVs . They are basically shit . The even worse news is that our car industry and our race to be carbon neutral will make Chinese cars the only ones available to buy in a few years ..imo. Here is a story for you about Ford EVs.
Lol Same bloke youtu.be/B9Zu8NMOz2Ayoutube.com/watch?v=B9Zu8NMOz2A&feature=shareIt claims EV made in China are exploding in huge numbers and the country is covering it up.

Past tense 'were exploding'. They have switched to lithium iron phosphate which is a safe alternative according to both my video and the one you posted back.

If the UK had been on the outside of the Single Market, Nissan would not have invested in a plant at Sunderland, and Honda and other manufacturers would also have NOT built plants in the UK.
The United Kingdom was the second largest recipient of FII ( foreign inward investment ) because we were in the European Union, we are no longer the second largest recipient of FII.
Foreign Investment has dramatically gone down, and the sole reason is that we are outside the European Single Market.
No Chinese, Indian, American or Korean manufacturer would consider building a European operation in the UK, unless they were stupid. It makes far more sense to site a European site inside the EU.

Stop swerving ffs and quote what you're responding to. I was just looking at a firm started in 2013 in Shenzhen. "Our Working Time: 8:00AM-22:00PM (Beijing Time), From Monday to Saturday. "
Once you get your nose out of the Daily Mail and see it all in reality you start to notice differences. You'd never see a British firm with those hours.

Yes we know all that. It is easy to quote facts, but what is harder to answer is, why can't the people of this country create their own car firms and do it with British investment money? In the last few years China has grown several new car firms.

Else they wouldn't be able to be sold there. Honestly, fiddler - don't you know anything? (Rhetorical question btw).

Wrong again.
Jaguar Land Rover is Indian owned. Most American manufacturers are struggling and no one wants a Chinese car.
I'll give you the Koreans, though: Some are made in the former Eastern Bloc because cheap labour. And good luck to them because Brexit was all about getting out of the race to the bottom.

Jaguar Landrover is a BRITISH company based in the United Kingdom, owned by an Indian company.
Renault seem to be doing ok, as do Volvo and Volkswagon, but then its easy for them to sell in an internal market of half a Billion people.
You people just dont get it at all ... I mean, its like saying that we can still have the same benefits of a members club by not been members, how does that add up. We shot ourselves in the foot by believing we could be better off outside the EU, well we are not better off, we are worse off.

Jaguar Landrover is a BRITISH company based in the United Kingdom, owned by an Indian company... LOL! So they are an Indian owned company, manufacturing in the UK. But that doesn't make them an Indian manufacturer, according to your twisted logic. God help us, fiddler - you couldn't lie straight in bed!
