I am very pleased to be rich. I like my posh car with all its gadgets, my nice home and garden, my good whiskeys and my 4 or 5 holidays a year. And I can have all that and still easily pay more tax, and I'm nowhere near as wealthy as some of my friends and directors. No one has to cut their quality of life to make this country a better place for everyone. Why are you so mean minded, If you can't afford to pay more tax, fine, you are not the people I am talking about. |

In that case, rather than insisting on more tax, which will probably only be pissed up the wall anyway why not do your bit to deal with wage disparity. Set an example for other business owners to follow Pay all your staff £30 an hour minimum. If you can afford to pay them all £40 an hour do that instead. Problem solved. |
