No need to be scared about making decisions for yourself rather than waiting for orders from the Westminster party. It only goes tits up when people like you repeat everything they say as though it is some king of truth, which it never has been. If you are referring to referendums, they place control into the hands of the easily led and the ill informed. It is a nonsense position. Calm down Adolf, we know you only believe what the Westminster party tell you. Any thinking outside the box is beyond you.

"Populism" is about people with big mouths and small brains, your posts are a very good example, proving my point. By that definition you would be one of the better known populists on here considering the fact most of your posts lack any substance whatsoever and rather attack the messenger. A typical Rightist put down approach ^^^. Without put downs, misinformation, insinuations and deviations righties wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

Thanks for your post, it is further proof of your misguided rightist willingness to create lies in an attempt to appear to be clever. Just another failure by yourself.

The Tories never told you to vote for Brexit in the first place. You just thought you knew better. Yes we did sunshine. And there were more of us who voted to leave than those who voted to stay. And we were not old farts who didn't know what we were voting for and NO we were not led by lies and bullshit. Like you remnants try to make out. It's called making the correct choice. Just fuck off with the name calling, right.

Sheepy, the fastest way to break up the union would be to hold regular referendums. If there was another referendum next year and Scotland voted very differently from the rest of the UK, that would be that - Scotland would be gone. Both the Conservatives and Labour know this, and both favour the union. The populist dream of regular referendums was killed by Scotland's vote in 2016. The 2016 referendum may have delivered Brexit for most of the UK, but it has also killed the populist dream. A referendum on any issue going forward will be bigger than the issue being voted on - in one way or another it will be about the union, and neither Labour nor the Torys are going to risk that. You can forget about regular referendums.

Apart from a very few robotic types on here everybody agrees on one thing, the Westminster party are not fit for purpose.

Well, 'the Westminster party' knows that referendums are lethal for the union, so don't expect them to hold many. Go to the Scottish section. You'll see quite a few populists arguing against Scottish independence. If those same populists got their way and there were regular referendums, that would kill the union within years.

No, like the EU they are repeating the same mantra after losing, the actual point of referendums is understanding democracy for the masses, if you lose or win you move on. Put the peoples choice in place and accept that. As that is the hard part of people realising they not in the majority but a minority on different major policy change is so far beyond them. The Westminster party just want it all ways where control stays with them and their globalist masters.

They are the shortest route to Scottish independence. If there was a referendum tomorrow, all the Scottish nationalists would vote contrary to how they believe the rest of the UK would vote. I don't know where Reform UK stand on Scottish independence. But if they're opposed to it, don't expect them to hold regular referendums in the very unlikely event they gain any sort of parliamentary foothold. That's another great irony of Brexit. You people say referendums are 'real' democracy. But the 2016 referendum has made future referendums much less likely. You shot yourselves in the foot ... again.

Well we obviously didn't as the people voted in huge numbers, another fallacy. The problems actually started by the likes of Blair and a the media feeding it wasn't a UK wide decision and then divided it up into regions actually. When everyone knew beforehand it was going to be a UK wide decision win or lose. So started we didn't really lose movement on behalf of the EU.

It hasn't failed it was sabotaged, our remoaner Europhiles have made sure of that, a cross party plot to sabotage progress, that's not including the EU who have been hellbent on putting obstacles in our way at every turn. Absolutely correct. How on earth can Brexit succeed when politicians on both sides of the house are determined to undermine it. I know Sunak voted to leave but he was never a committed Brexiteer, he's a globalist, like Starmer he likes the WEF and the EU. The fact that he is keeping thousands of EU laws that just months ago he promised to scrap and he seems unconcerned about immigration, is testament to that. I'm tempted to ask, does he know there's a general election next year.
