You missed the 20mph speed limit, the hospitals permanently in special measures and tbe ambulance targets scrapped because they could not mert them. And it’s not 13 years, it’s 26. Labour : Fucking up Wales since 1997 and no sign of it ending. Did Labour do it, or did the Welsh do it? How good / bad was it in Wales before 1997? I’ve lived here since 1957 It’s difficult to remember and that is of course the plan. I suppose it depends on what you want to try to measure. It’s easy to say ‘the welsh did it’ but the reality is Blair imposed this unicameral, unfettered legislature populated by a bastard variant of ‘PR’ that fills the place with the top four parties to the detriment of the tories which was of course the plan all along. If the assembly was truly proportional i’d have been elected as one of its members in 2011 along with someone from Arthur Scargill’s Socialist Labour or the TUSC hard left, Plaid would have six at most, the Liberals ten to twelve and the Greens god help us at least six. Lembit Opik would have been openly shagging both Cheeky Girls in the street in an effort not to be involved in forming a government oh wait he did that anyway well in a north wales hotel… The d’Hondt system is designed to deliver the worst of both worlds. Wales always lagged behind south east england for the same reason south west england, north west england and north east england did. But the hospitals were never in special measures and the ambulances arrived. There has been much whingeing about English NHS facilities failing the people over the last year. Nobody bothers to make it plain the worst you are seeing is the best we have had. Have you ever had a health minister admit he can’t to the job and get given a second minister to DO the job leaving him to do nothing except strut his black arse around podiums making pontificating noises. Oh hang on you’ve had Diane Flabbott as shadow home secretary haven’t you. But that’s what Twatford did when his pal the Health Minister was exposed as an utterly incompetent twat. Instead of being sacked he was kept on in the role and given someone else to do his work for him. Fucking unbelieveable.

I wish I could fix it for you, but I suspect it would require nothing less than a full revolution. The only crumb of comfort I can offer is that much of the UK is in a mess these days, as is so much of the world. Maybe thing will begin to return to some level of normality in the near future.

Is 13 years not enough to at least start. Name one thing that is better since they got in power? I can do that if you insist, they have avoided a major crash, although they still haven't and probably never will recover from the last one, some lessons were learnt at least. The Westminster party never actually fix feck all because they are under the cosh of globalist policies. They are merely going through the motions of making out they are in charge. So you don't have one.😔

So how does the increase in spending compare with the levels of inflation and why the need for increased expenditure in 2021/22? do you understand what 'real terms spending' means? Is it like 'real time pay decreases'?

During Tony Blairs tenure, the average annual increase in spending on the NHS was 6% over and above inflation, therefore a REAL TERMS increase.
During this time the NHS recruited more doctors, nurses and other staff, waiting lists fell dramatically, and waiting times fell sharply.
In the run up to the 2010 general election, David Cameron and the Tories promised to increase spending on the NHS (but slash everything else).
After scraping to a victory with the help of the Lib Dems, the Tories then initiated a Spending Review, and the details of which were announced in October 2010.
Spending on the NHS did increase, by 0.1% per year, the absolute minimum increase.
In the first 70 years of the NHS, the average annual budget rise was 3.7%. However, between 2009/10 and 2018/19, the average funding growth each year was just 1.5%.
You can look at this a hundred different ways, but the truth is always the truth, our NHS is in a mess for a reason, and it began to deteriorate after the Tories came to power.

The Tories spent 10s of billions on a failed track and trace but have done nothing about internet and cold calling fraud.

I’ll be dead soon enough so i won’t care My youngest has escaped to England. My eldest never will, but her daughter has her eyes firmly set on doing so. That’s about the best we can hope for. The twat in the bay is hell bent on making wales a venezuela of the northern hemisphere but with lousier healthcare. I think the best we can hope for is Putin actually goes for it and pushes the button.

Well that's the point 'how can government legislate criminals'... it's quite obvious they can't, I was giving you are glowing example.

Is it like 'real time pay decreases'? Exactly - explain it to your mate.. The NHS is in a mess, this is pretty typical under Tory administration. But there will always be the Tory deceivers who want to put the blame on someone else.

You mean like Labour because they have been out of office for 13 years they can con us by trying to blame the Tories for the NHS mess, when it was Labour who laid the foundations.
