I know they talk about it but does Labour actually believe it?.
After Johnsons withdrawal the Tories will now have delivered 3 women PM's, a Jewish PM and now a Hindu. Meanwhile Labour are yet to elect a woman to lead them even in opposition.
So from tomorrow we will have a middle aged, middle class, millionaire white guy in charge of the Labour Party and a middle aged, middle class, millionaire asian guy, who replaced a woman, in charge of the Tory Party. And to think that Labour went through all the angst of women only shortlists..which plainly didnt work.
What will it need for Labour to embrace equality/

The Torys call her a working class Slag.
Or a Black person like Abbott or lammy they call them Dumbe.

Lenny Henry and Ms Izzard mincing onto the stage to address all 200 of their adoring audience. There is a minority, a certain section of society who would vote for it, and that's OK. Fringe movements have always been there. But I'm afraid if Starmer thinks men in dresses are what Labour voters want, then the Tories have no worries. |

Heres honest anas , labour party branch manager....
The moral of the story is when keir starmer tells the english public new labour wont rejoin the EU , take his lies with a pinch of salt.

Its merely a matter of pure circumstance and has nothing to do with Labour not been a party of equality
THe Labour Party introduced the very first Race Relations Act in 1965, 51% of all Labour MPs are currently female, compared to only 24% of Conservative MPs.
The Conservative record on such things as Apartheid in South Africa, and on Homosexuality ( Section 28 ) speaks for itself when it comes to equality.

While they are protesting about wealth and the wealthy, they raking in loads of money, and doing the very tings that they are supposed to be outraged about.
Nothing wrong with going to the opera and sipping champagne, but what makes it wrong about Rayner these are the very people she includes in her 'scum' attacks, she can't be half in half out, she either loathes wealthy people, she can't just loathe certain types of wealthy people, and she can't enjoy the trappings of wealth while she's trying to get to power condemning it.
