...And while we're on the subject why are the tax payers funding 778 waste of space sponges, no wonder they have empathy for illegal migrants, they have something in common, they are sponging off the tax payers for doing fuck all.

Who asked him to poke his nose in?
He is not there to poke his nose in to government policies, he's got his own platform to do that, if he wants to give his 'opinions' on matters that don't concern him he's got his own place of worship he can do that from, I didn't notice him poking his nose in and wanting his voice to be heard when it came to historic child sex abuse within the Church, is this the same outspoken Justin Welby we are talking about?... can't be surely.
Of course he and the others in the HoLs are. Why do you think they are there? For the money dead nag. That's why they are there.

You do understand the role of the House of Lords, right!? You think that they should "keep their noses out of the government's business"? And you really just wrote that on a political forum? Time the HOL was flushed down the shitter sunshine. They are just a bunch of woke perverts. Who are irrelevant these days.

It is interesting to see the reaction in the Weymouth area to the news that about 500 new British will be housed on a barge in Portland harbour, the local council is very sad about it, local business men/women who rely on tourism are angry, people who have paid quite a lot of money to buy a house to live there are not impressed.
This particular barge will house those arriving and will take ONE DAYS worth of new British, Welby must be off his rocker if he thinks anyone at all will welcome his remarks, but at least it has caused a furore and got even more people indignant about it.
The most practical solution that I can see is that a few hundred acres of the Cairngorms are sectioned off, a thousand 20 man tents are erected and all new arrivals are sent there, it will only cost a fraction of the current costs, no one will see them, they can indulge in their foreign ways without upsetting us and the Scottish Administration can demonstrate how warm, friendly, open hearted and international in outlook they all are. Any overflow can be dumped in the Brecon Beacons, let them earn their devolved handouts.

Welby will count it as a success if just one of millions of Catholics or Moslems convert to Protestant. Not sure if you remember the Liverpool taxi bomber. Well it turned out he was a graduate, along with hundreds of other asylum seekers, of Liverpool Cathedral's 'Come to Jesus' conversion programme. It became extremely popular after word got around that Christians couldn't be returned to places like Iraq and Iran,

I have no problem with them being sent to a 'safe' third country, Rwanda is not, when the have been processed and failed in an asylum request. What I object to is the government stripping them of their right to claim asylum against international law. You appear to be happy that we could soon be joining a club that includes Russia and the like. So we can send them back to France? We have tried that and failed, oh no we did have an agreement with the EU but we lost that when we left the EU.

Only a vague recollection of the incident but all it shows is the gullibility of silly religionists. When will they ever learn. I now look forward to mot=re accusations of being racist as I avoid being blown up.

So what you are telling us with a straight face, that these migrants will be placed anywhere near any of these 778 Lords live .... LOL
Honestly you should become a comedian, or better still a clown.
I don't know if you actually read what I wrote before you commented?

I don’t necessarily disagree with you on replacing the HoL with an elected chamber, but that's not really the point, is it?

The second chamber should be made up of those who were duly elected And not by anti government woke freeloaders sunshine.
