What status quo? Scotland has no tuition fees , england does , and starmer wants scotland to have tuition fees . I tell you see 2 , its fun debating with new labour supporters.
back on topic , ......
Starmer wants Scotland to have tuition fees?? That's news to me, can you confirm that claim? I'm more than willing to learn. it was all over scotlands media a few days back . Scottish labour denied it of course , while the snp demanded that the branch manager come clean in scotland about his bosses wish to impose tuition fees on scotland same as england.
of course , we all know with labours flip flopping on every issues they cant be trusted. Which scots are going to take the chance that labour are lying to them? Not many i think.
Labours problem with scotland and england in a nutshell .Trying and failing to face two ways at the same time , and the public see through them. Whcih is why you have been out of power in scotland since 2007 , and at westmisnter since 2010.

I read in the press that demonstrators were going to use rape alarms to spook the Royal Horses, so who in their right minds would hand them out prior to the parade? When you think about it, what's rape prevention got to do with a royal coronation? They could hand those out on any day. Why that day? Rat, smelt, much? If the police had not done anything and allowed this protest and a horse got spooked and injured some spectators, all the same people complaining now would be asking whey the police had not done anything to stop it. Cobblers horse was spooked it happens they’re animals so listen to the noise of the crowd you’d not hear a rape alarm over that din.

just for clarity , lets look at what labours david lammy was saying on the anti protest laws....
Someone commented that starmers new labour make ted heath look like a socialist.
I note the deviations. what deviations? lammy let the cat out the bag , and then starmer had to run around denying a concrete policy?

I agree but it didn't happen and less the police are now 'psychic' we will never know. You cannot run a society on a "we believe you will, therefore you will" attitude. Will the police now arrest football fans going to a game because they are too noisy and are carrying banners because they might start fighting, getting drunk, breaking windows? No. It seems to be a law introduced to stop dissent of the 'establishment' and the people protesting and that is the road to fascism.

I have heard that they took rape alarms off women.😔 Not a helpful observation, given that it was only recently being reported that girls and young women were being advised not to approach a lone police officer if they felt nervous or threatened...
Yep, possibly the most irresponsible piece of advice ever.

That's exactly how powers of arrest work, Wonky. Arrest on suspicion... Sheesh, you really don't know anything about anything do you?

I tried a thought experiment just now: I wonder how many of the current moaning minnies would be so enraged if Yaxley-Lennon had been arrested in exactly the same circumstances. I suspect that the radio silence would have been deafening.

No he hasn't - the Tories have simply imploded. Labour aren't going to win anything, the Tories are going to lose. Almost no one wants Labour - they're just pissed off with the Tories. Not that it will make one iota of difference either way. The reality is that as Labour have climbed higher and higher in the polls, the Conservatives started squabbling and fighting amongs themselves, because they do not know how to turn it around. I agree that the Tories do have an internal problem, largely unseen by us commoners, it's a civil war between the Populists and traditional Tories. I disagree totally that its all down to Tory in-fighting, the Labour leader has taken a very firm grip of the party and stamped his authority. He has come down very hard on anti-semitism, reclaimed the patriotic high ground, seen off most of the far Left, and dealt decisively with those that step out of line with the values that Labour stand for. Corbyn .. gone, Abbott .. gone, you are now dealing with the Labour party how it should be, a mainstream Left of centre political party which champions Social Justice, and which will work with both business and trade unions. And yet Labour's vote share is currently exactly the same as it was under Corbyn. True, the Tories are 20 points down but those votes haven't gone to Labour.

Why are the right wingers in here supporting the removal of their rights?😂 Who has the most rights - those wanting to disrupt the proceedings or those who were wishing to enjoy the spectacle?

Who has the most rights - those wanting to disrupt the proceedings or those who were wishing to enjoy the spectacle? Who can hear a rape alarm Pacifico? Well I assume anyone in the vicinity - so why should those enjoying the music from the bands have their enjoyment curtailed? Do they not have any rights?
