I wore a face mask and informed the man on the desk that I was classed as vulnerable, not a lie, and he said "that's OK" and gave me my ballot paper.
Absolutely pointless, expensive waste of time.
How did you lot get on?

How did you lot get on? No vote where i live. They haven’t filled the streets with enough asylum seekers to pervert the results yet. I agree personification isn't the problem. All three occasions 1997-2005 where my vote was interfered with the problem was interception of ballot papers.

Fairly obviously voting for my own downfall was not on the cards, so I didn't vote, as we are in the usual realm of it is some great victory, we await the turnout figures which will eventually be along. Not only that we weren't on the list for council voting anyway.LOL

No point in arguing the point with the Anti Democratic Tories on here, if the sun was out, they would say its night time.
The amount of voter fraud cases at the last general election for example was almost non-existent, but yet the Tories insist that ID is necessary.
You can use photo ID, such as a driving licence, passport or bus pass for pensioners, yet a young persons railcard is not acceptable, seems very dodgy to me, could this be a way to discourage younger voters who are less likely to vote Tory. ? surely not
Think about it ... a polling card comes to your address with your name and unique number on it, you then take your polling card to the polling station, what are the chances of fraud. ?
The Tories will resort to almost anything to fix results, but sadly for them it wont stop them from humiliation in the local elections, but it has disenfranchised many people.

FFS Sid - NI has used voter ID for over 20 years (introduced by Labour) and the Labour Party insist on voter ID for their internal elections. Voter ID is a perfectly logical idea.

Indeed, Labour wanted mandatory ID cards.

I’m possibly remembering it wrong, but haven’t the most Right Wing and reactionary anti immigrant posters on here and its predecessor forum been calling for ID to combat most of their pet crimes and infringements they rant against…?

I voted, so did Mrs, I used my bus pass and she used her passport. We didn't cover our faces like ninnies or ninjas to try to make a silly point, either. It took no longer than usual, in fact it helped with name spelling.

I would say voter fraud is high, in certain parts of London with a high Muslim electorate.
