That's funny, I specifically remember voting for Blair three times... I never voted for Brown. Everybody knew it was fake, Dr David Kelly's "suicide" in the woods gave that away!! The UK had nothing to do with the financial crisis? lol. What utter bullshit. Labour had a policy of letting everybody "getting filthy rich" so they sat back and did nothing while a personal debt bubble built up, and people were allowed mortgages based on "signing a piece of paper to say they could afford it" rather than providing credible proof. Yes, it started off in the US, but the UK and many EU countries were exposed because of a lack of regulation!! If this is wrong, why did they tighten the rules afterwards? lol. You can cry all you want, you ain't getting a general election. Labour didn't have one in the three examples I have shown despite massive calls for one, so why should the Tories have one now and face being wiped out? The labour party always rely on the public having selective amnesia on their shattered economic record and previous inglorious time in power. The labour party attack dogs are out in force on many forums trying to whitewash their share of the blame for the 2008 financial crash , bankrupting the uk and where possible lay the blame at anyone and everyones elses feet.
If keir starmer takes power , he will take the uk back into the EU and humiliate England on a par not seen since the norman invasion of 1066.
Labour have admitted they made mistakes, but they did not cause the financial crash. Conservatives are calling for us to re-join and we surely will when people start talking about the damage it has and still is doing.

Everybody knows labour caused many of the underlying problems of the financial crash in the uk in 2008 , without possibly being the initial catalyst.
Keir starmer , the arch europhile who spent 3 years trying to disresepct the english publics democratic vote to leave simply canot be trusted on any issue let alone the elephant in the room called brexit.

People keep saying the UK financial crash, but it was world-wide mainly in the US. I note, carefully, that you said "the English publics democratic vote to leave" with no mention of the rest of the UK. Brexit is causing harm to our country and when the idiots wake up, we will re-join. Whatever the rights and wrongs of Brexit it made no sense to deliberately raise trade barriers against your biggest trading partners.

Didnt england and wales vote to leave , with scotland northern ireland and gibraltar voting remain ? or did i imagine it , and my description of england voting leave wrong?
The people were presented with a vote , and voted accordingly , and here we are. You have lost to my estimation 5 votes on brexit since 2015 , and still you sit and demand people listen to you and acknowledge your view on brexit.
What part of the word no do you not understand?

You specifically called it "the English publics democratic vote to leave", Brexit involved all the countries of the UK but your obsession appears to be England. I have not argued that we have left the EU, my argument is that it has failed, and we will end up back in on worse terms than we had. What are the five votes you have mentioned?

What are the five votes you have mentioned? 2015 general election , labour and many remainers opposed a referendum at all , brexiters backed camerons call.
2016 brexit ref , self explanatory.
2017 general election , both main parties promised to endorse brexit , and again , no one could argue brexiters didnt win at this general election.
2019 european elections. The famous bbc graph trying to dispute brexit parties had won with zero effect.
2019 general election , brexiters overwhelmingly back johnson and tories to get brexit done after starmer and anti democratic remainers spend three years trying the publics patience , which finally snaps.
Dont you rememebr , or is it convenient to forget?

A GE is not a referendum on Brexit.

Pedantry aside , whats any of this got to do with my initial post you moaned about? Did the english or did they not vote leave .....yes or no?

A GE is not a referendum on Brexit. I didnt say it was.
Heres what i said....
Which is emphatically true , when you consider the hype up to the last GE2019 when if remoaners had won , they would have taken that as a democratic mandate to overturn brexit.
Now do you actually have a point , or do you just wish to rake over the coals of your many defeats on brexit?

Thomas will you call for another referendum for Scottish independence despite the Majority of Scottish people voted to remain in Scotland?

Thomas will you call for another referendum for Scottish independence despite the Majority of Scottish people voted to remain in Scotland? aye. In 2014 , the referendum was implemented immediately .
in 2016 , remoaners thought they could get away with taking their medicine , and delayed it three years till johnson set the ball in motion with his victory.
Remember the three rules of democracy mate.
1. hold vote
2. implement result
3. campagin again.
