Meanwhile the Plaid Cymru numpties are getting nowhere. They're even less successful than the SNAT cult. vinny has dodged a few more home truths . while screaming incoherently yet again in the dark room.
fuck sake vinny , starmer will be sitting on the number ten throne , the uk back in the EU , and you will be sitting alone in your dark living room with the curtains drawn screaming you won the 2016 brexit ref incoherently as the neighbours walk by the window.

Are these alleged problems that bad john , the irish are asking to come back to the safety of the flatlining and extremely damaged uk economy ? [ Well Leo never went QUITE so far as to suggest he reverse the violent secession of the Irish State from the Union of Great Britain and Ireland, but it is a fact that the economy severely overheated and housing went to hell in a bucket as a direct result of their own economic and political choices and no one else’s. They chose to profit from insane tax policy in a neighbouring sovereign state by making theirs more favourable. They chose to capitulate to Franco-German pressure and crucified their own people to bend to European demands from those two shysters.

same as your country. I return to the question , why then if things were allegedly that bad , did the irish not ask to come back to the benevolence of mother england?
Honestly john , you arent selling the onion mate.
the irish dared to compete with britian? How dare they john.
are you implying the irish are not pro european ? I mean really john?
Is that how bad its getting for right wing brexiters now , they are lost in a cloud of insanity and delusion of their own making ?
you are all in melt down on this forum today john. Is something in the air?

you seem to be missing my point thomas I merely wish to point out the republic of ireland saw an opportunity to take advantage of the antics of british government assholes that impacted you north of your dream world border just as much as it impacted england. I don’t care overly what they did. They approached me with an offer of moneymaking opportunity if i shipped out to shamrock glen. I chose not to go. My choice. I have no regrets. Their offer was little different from the one i got from Saudi. Again i chose to review the offer they made, weigh up others, and went with another. No animosity and no outrage on either side. I made money in Europe. Others i know made money in County Cork and others made money in Dubai and Riyadh. I still drink with my former co workers who went to those locations to make their money. Yes some made a lot more than i did. Fine by me as i said i had the chance and chose to do something else. But as i said, and still do, because it is obvious if you look for the evidence, Ireland or specifically Eire, chose a particular path and its people paid a heavy price. But they voted for the government that made those choices. Their problem. Not mine. You seem to think i have a problem with Eire taking a particular economic tack. I don’t. I don’t care that my mate made a killing in Boeing in Shamrock Glen because i know what it took out of him. Same as i know the challenges my former teammates and work colleagues permanent and freelance who went to Saudi and made a killing. I know how tough it was to enjoy the spoils back here.

Are you informing me the republic taking advantage of the antics of your government is a good thing or a bad thing? The irish always say englands difficulty is irelands opportunity. I agree.
well done the republic for taking advantage of the disaster that is england s brexit. Not only all the business they took from london , but the fact they and the EU took northern ireland off you.
by the way john. Take your medicine. You voted brexit. you and your mates have caused all the economic woe that affected those us us currently stuck in your fucking union , including your own welsh people. The irish havent inflicted it on us.
its that heavy a price , they havent asked to come back into the union ? They have taken loads of business off you , and northern ireland without firing a shot in anger , and currently sit shaking their head in disbelief as your country is economically ground into the dust due to brexit?
but the irish have paid a heavy price?
i wish scotland had that same heavy price too mate. I bet many welsh do.
john of gwent shoots himself in both feet by voting brexit , and while sitting bleeding , tells us the irish are paying a heavy price. You couldnt make this stuff up.

You still don’t get it I’m saying the Irish Republic’s government chose a particular course. I know, because friends of mine were there to see it, that the choice they made had consequences. There were two specific consequences which came about some years apart. One was a consequence of the popularity of the political move they made to take business from mainland britain. The other was a consequence of Franco-German envy I don’t say they were right or wrong to take the actions they did. It pleases me they THOUGHT they were a sovereign nation and able as a result to take whatever action they felt they could because the Franco German alliance within the EU (or maybe the EEC, maybe my timeline is skewed and this was before Lisbon, I forget now) made it quite clear they were not at all free to do this. So their action exposed the antics of the Franco German alliance, which as i said, was exempted from doing the same to itself when its economy fell out of step. The Irish housing market went through hell as a direct result of the Irish Republic’s decision. Again, their action, their problem. I don’t care about it, i just wish to point out a proper economist would know this issue might arise The only ‘lesson’ the United Kingdom needs to learn is that dropping corporation tax to encourage enterprise to relocate is a two edged sword. It doesn’t really apply in the UK of course because the Europhile pricks in charge of the Tory Party would never try to attract business to the UK and next year the Tories will be extinct so it wont matter
