The British Legion have been forced to cancel Poppy Day which is held on the 3rd of November to raise donations to those brave men and women who have served their country by putting themselves in harm's way, some of them die in action, some are horribly injured, some in later life fall on hard times PTSD and other issues. Why has it been cancelled? because of the Rail Strike serving members of the services who traditionally to take to the streets with collecting tins may not get to where they usually collect, All down to the Far-Left Union Leaders who have organised more strike days, causing more inconvenience to the traveling Public, many of whom cannot get to work, Hospital appointments, see loved one who may be gravely ill in Hospital, more damage to our economy, etc etc all down to the Comrades again. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11340405PS just noted an omission by me the collections are organised London at Transport Hubs

Given that employers will attempt to 'underpay' and reduce working conditions to increase profits, could anyone on here suggest what workers can do, once talks have broken down, to improve their lot? You may like them, but the heads of the Rail Unions are staunch supporters of Madman Putin and have spent time in Russia, the only problem is the daft buggers keep coming back, it is simple if you don't like the pay and conditions where you work it is simple leave find another job. Train and Underground Drivers are some of the best paid workers in the UK, most of their passengers who pay dearly to travel on the either do not earn anywhere near as much as they do, would like to pay three or four thousand pounds or more a year, just to get to work? I doubt it. One Poppy Day which is the 3rd of November most train and tube stations will be shut which means the Poppy Sellers collecting tins will not be as full as usual, which means less to help our veterans

I gather that you don't know. Neither do I since there is no such thing. I know what date the Poppy Day is in London which has already be posted 3rd November, if you can summon up the energy to press a few keys you can find out what days they are scheduled elsewhere

How about disappear up their own arse along with the commies who stir them up. Most of the tossers who attend these Rebellions have never done a hard days work in their lives. So the railway workers on the picket lines are not railway workers. Do you not believe in a worker's right to strike? Do you think workers should accept a reduction in their pay? Of course Tory extremists do,its the Pinochet school of thought.

But hey let's avoid the question "do you not believe that British workers should have the right to go on strike"? And do you believe workers should be 'grateful' for below inflation rises?
