Look at this statement which was published as a Tweet by the Labour Party
Under the Tories, 4,500 adults convicted of sexually assaulting children under 16, served no prison time.
So the question is: IS THAT STATEMENT CORRECT
The answer is Yes it is correct
and that ladies and gentlemen sums up this argument, the Labour Party have nothing to answer for, they made a factual statement, not a false alligation.
The Conservative Party is now more split than Labour, its divided between the new breed of Populists who care more for culture wars, and then theres the more traditional Conservatives.
The populists in the Tory Party have been using these kinds of tactics for a few years now, half truths, dirty politics, bent statistics, deception and lies, exaggerations, the kind of stuff you see every day in The Daily Mail.
When someone in the Labour Party decided to play them at their own game - they dont like it, its not fair

When someone in the Labour Party decided to play them at their own game - they dont like it, its not fair Andrew Bridgen quoted government facts and figures in parliament and was listened to by no opposition MPs at all and the opposition in the main have taken upon themselves to ignore those facts and figures and not 'oppose' government policy as regards vaccination. It seems facts and figures are only important if one can make a political point and as far as Labour are concerned as regards lockdowns and vaccines then they carry as much, if not more, guilt than the government.

1. £500 is an increased cost for a new buyer. It is apparently a cost that is rising by £500 a month, a product of the "crashed economy". 2. Councils set their own council tax, they get their money from three main sources: direct funding from national government (central government grants), is one. So the government does influence the council tax. 3. The government CAN freeze the council tax if it chooses to. Providing it covers the cost to the council. It seems that you are as far out of touch as ever. So Labour would have funded all the extra spending by Councils in the country by providing extra cash from central government - how would they have funded this? Or is this another bullshit lie like they would lock up another 4,500 people without providing any extra prison spaces? Why are you asking me? You know where to shove your biased bullshit deviation.

No, the spending promises were all funded, that is a Tory trope. Many of the spending pledges would have increase productivity, created jobs and increase the taxes for the treasury.

And you know where to shove your biased comments about Starmer. Already have - they claim they are going to use the money that is raised by a windfall tax - money that was already promised to cutting energy bills. We are going to see more and more of this as the election gets closer, Labour make spending commitments using money they have already spent several times over.

Starmer has been an absolute idiot on this one. He has stood by a poster that is absolute nonsense, which is going to excuse the nonsense he gets back. How can he now complain about smears against him on failing to prosecute Saville and grooming gangs, when he has just doubled down on Labour doing the same to Sunak? To make it even worse, the fucking idiot was on the group that decides how sentences will be applied haha. He has lost all moral authority now, and he has opened the floodgates for personal attacks on him and his fellow Labour MPs. Personally, I think he has to go. He is rapidly turning a landslide into a hung parliament. Did the poster tell a lie? Or are you just determined to make a fool of yourself again? Those with an iota of common sense KNOW that the smears against Starmer over Saville are lies that are posted with no proof, just opinion. YES THE POSTER TOLD A LIE!!! This is why many people have a problem with the poster, it doesn't list Tory failures on sexual assault cases, it instead says that Sunak PERSONALLY doesn't want offenders locked up. Answer one simple question, do you believe that Sunak (a father of two girls) PERSONALLY believes that adults who sexually assault children should avoid jail if convicted? If you answer yes then you might as well leave this forum because you have lost all credibility.

Hand on heart do you believe that? Of course not, it is a stupid personal slur. It is also unbelievable stupid because (1) he has lost his "adults in the room" position (2) the Tories / right wing media are going to go hard on the "lefty lawyer letting off criminals" front and he will have no moral position to challenge it. Think back to when Boris attacked him over Saville, he had the moral authority then and the media backed it up as a slur. Good luck now... The idiot is going to turn a landslide into a hung parliament.
