I don't see how this makes political sense, but maybe it is some sort of fashion statement?

It's completely illogical and nonsensical. The fact is that they would have to adopt the euro and that would bankrupt them very quickly - SCotland only survive in the pound because of support from Westminster. Of course, based on EU convergence rules, the EU would never even accept them for accession to the EU. BUT the EU has been known to bend the rules when they want (like when Greece joined) and I'm dead sure the EU would like Scotland aboard because it will break up Britain. The EU would love that.

That's the thing, since devolution and even after the Scottish Executive was hijacked by the fascist mob, Westminster has done very little to challenge them. From what I am hearing now is a good time.

What do you want westmisnter to do? The scottish and welsh public voted democratically in a free and fair referendum for devolution , and barely 8 % of scots want rid of holyrood.
The whole point of devolution is for westmisnter to keep its nose out of our affairs that are devolved , and for us to do things different to what westmisnter does them.
Gettind rid of devolution against the wishes of the majority , and reforming direct control from some centralised authority in your nation is the very definition of fascist like behaviour you keep waffling on about.
Whys now the good time.? Every election to the scottish and welsh parliaments , you have the opportunity to stand parties to overturn devolution if you gain enough seats and votes , but you never do.
the next ones is in 2026 mate. Better get out there and start campaigning .

You were spot on about the westminster party. You are up shit creek now thomas, once John Curtice is called in with his polling data. Not really sheepwash. Alba are now predicted to take seats , so its more a slow rebalancing away from the snp.
as i said many time i dont know why the westminster party dont just call themselves the unionist party in scotland and be done with it. They still have to pretend to the rest of the uk though they are two different parties i suppose.
...but going back to useless , i see 15 snp msps are reportedly rebelling against him . I give him 6 months mate .

They can't get the votes in England as they have been voted persona non grata so you are in the barrel, the chances of them get over 50% of a vote ever again are slim to say the least. |
