I guess it's no conincidence that it's those with the least respect for democracy that rely on weird propaganda like "our beloved EU" (twisted Big Brother shit). the whole of our european union should have had a vote on wether or not your wee country and its seperatists should have left.
When you do come back to mother europe , i think we should close your parliament down and turn it into a museum , with charlie on the door taking ticket money.
MacCharlie.

As I keep telling you - thats democracy. You are going to have to stop complaining about it at some point and accept life as it is. we in scotland and the northern irish voted remain. Thats democracy. You didnt like it , told us englands vote mattered more , then ran up against the GFA which overruled your brexit vote for the uk , and here we are. GB left , anti democratically , the irish remained.
tell that to the tories like bojo and rees mogg voting against sunaks sell out tonight. Seems to be all kicking off in the tory party once more over europe.
Reform uk , or whatever the latest brexit party bnp type pressure group is called these days could have a field day in the tory seats at the next election.
Then i can comfortably repeat back to you thats democracy. Thats the great thing about democracy....theres always a re run in the near future.
How long can the tory brexiters hang on........
LOL - at some point you have to accept that democracy rules and some things in life just don't go the way you want. What you should be doing is accepting that and moving on, this obsession with spending every day complaining about it and wanting to rerun votes that you lost 7 years ago is unhealthy. There are other more important things in life.

Fine. If you insist on the fallacy that the SM was good for NI but bad for the rest of the UK because Parliament decided it. Who else is going to decide? Nobody has to make a decision whether something is good or bad. Something IS either good or bad. The decision to be made is whether or not to accept it.

Remoaners won't stop whining, they need enemies to make themselves feel good about themselves. They can pretend that everything bad is in their enemies and everything good is in them.
It's pathetic.

Something IS either good or bad. Not necessarily true.

Something IS either good or bad. I wish you lefties would make your minds up. One leftie claims that objective truth exist and another leftie wheels out linguistic theory to insist that it doesn’t.

Something IS either good or bad. Not necessarily true. Finally, someone spots the true point of contention! Yes, I could have qualified the assertion. But, clearly, it would have been too much for some people here. Leave them in their dazed and confused state, I think. So, back to basics: (a) the Single Market is good for Northern Ireland so (b) why can't it be good for the rest of the UK?

It's not good for Northern Ireland. It's a colony of EU rule. Unless you believe colonialism is good.
