LOL - even the leadership of the Labour Party have given up trying to defend PFI schemes that lumbered the taxpayer with massive bills but you keep on trying.. Its take some patience keeping up with the twists you keep throwing in, but, well here we go again. I am not defending PFIs, but I take an entirely different path than you over PFIs. While you exaggerate, distort and deviate I repeatedly attempt to bring you back to the truth. Well you soon changed your tune Einstein.

Well you soon changed your tune Einstein. LIAR. It looks like another one of those threads, where you constantly boast about being new Labour without having a clue what you are talking about.

No body, not even your magnificent 'have an answer for everything' self LOL, forecast the international financial meltdown, maybe that's why you are so reluctant to acknowledge the damage it did, or the reduction in NHS funding under the Tories. Instead of being a sarcastic 'know all' Why not take a look at the full picture? The Scottish PFI debt of £2b now costing £10b is for 45 hospitals and other health facilities, plus IIRC maintenance for what is it 25 or 30 years? The NHS then becomes the owner of property. In the same way as anyone who takes out a mortgage on a house. If you are correct and Labour agreed a contract for running a hospital where the cost of the contract would rise if a bank went bust, then they are a bigger bunch of imbeciles than even I took them to be. see 2 either doesnt know or understand that the big issue many in scotland had with their pfi contracts wasnt an ideological rejection of private finance contracts , but the fact that watchdogs such as Audit scotland and others wrote damning reports that the PFI deals that the previous labour governments had signed were so badly scrutinised by labour that the conclusion was labour didnt fully understand them.
I mean how fucking bad is that ?
Alec salmond , the then scottish first minister in 2010 had to set up a quango called the scottish futures trust to deal with the shambles labour had left. The SFT was so successfull in scotland dealing with the shambolic mess the labour party clowns had left , that they renegotiated these pfi deals and reduced the initial capital cost by 52 %.

2010 was after the international financial meltdown, and 2017 is even later. Hindsight is a wonderful aid to propaganda.

The labour party pfi deals were signed off in scotland between 1999 - 2007. 2007 was when the snp became a minority administration , and it was in the latter part of the snps first term in government after much investigation into them that salmond set up this quango to deal with labours disasterous pfi deals.

All the Scottish criticism came AFTER THE FINANCIAL MELTDOWN, you are the one being stupid on this.
