Please do not insult my intelligence with your ill informed opinion of me. Can you give a positive example of the sort innate BBC bias you point to, in recent years? Other programmes such as ITV are owned by families and or investors, do you believe that other program producers are without any bias? Do you have any comparisons of bias between ITV and BBC or of any other producers of TV programmes? It appears to be the case that the license is imposed by the government. The license, originally a radio license, was introduced in November 1923 by the Wireless Telegraphy Act 1923 and cost 10 shillings per annum. The license was extended to televisions at a cost of £2 in June 1946. The radio part was abolished in February 1971. I am no expert on the level of bias of any of the owners of any TV product, are you? But I suspect the BBC is a more reliable way of producing political reasonableness including having a live on TV complaints program. You might wish to use it by just writing in and complaining sometime? Correct but silly when you think there was a time when you could marry a rare beauty for seven and sixpence. It looks like they all end up getting screwed one way or another

Jonksy, this is why I don't watch the BBC, to be honest I dont watch a lot of TV, yes I'm watching the six nations which I think is free to air until 2024. After that we'll watch in the pub or we wont watch it. It's not the end of the world. I could live without TV, I'm not sure Mrs R could, which may be bad for me, lol. That reminds me if I don't fix the dishwasher I will be buying a new one, hopefully the part arrives today. D You can change the ‘Channel’ on your dish washer, washing machine and tumble driers by putting in different coloured liquids, sparkly bits … chewing slowly on a magic mushroom. To get a bit more Soap … easily as good as The Archers …. add it early until it comes pouring out the drawers. Turning your kitchen into a Foam Room experience … like Woodstock. (any excuse to get naked eh?) … is also more exciting than The One Show. …. Adding a dog or cat to the spin cycle will give you more Drama … possibly the Horror Channel when their eyes pop out at 7,200 rpm and their brains start running out their ears and noses … I wouldn’t recommend that … as the vet bills make buying a TV licence a MUCH cheaper option … even a licence inflated in price by Red’s pointless actions … (hobbling around shot in the foot!) 😂

I do indeed and he was spot on, nobody had ever heard of von Pompy. I just wish all politicians were as forthright or, in the case of our sad lot, forthwrong. Your hero, Starmer is like a courtroom talking machine but not well programmed.

Farage's attack on Von Rompuy was ignorant, arrogant, immature and cowardly. It exposed his inability to debate in a reasonable manner. He was of course safely some way away from Von Rompuy when he uttered his slimy remarks. You saw the true Farage at that moment.

You saw the true Farage at that moment. ....and you are one of those who think people like von Rompuy can be classed as a worthwhile representative of the EU or its members, similarly with van der Leyen who was pretty useless as a German politician. These people are installed as puppets with strings attached to other politicians of a higher order. If you want to do a study of EU politicians look no further than the Kinnocks or someone like Barroso, one time member of the Communist Party and now working for Goldman Sachs.
