The point about video nasties as they were once called, is that it can severely upset some people. That then can be said to be causing harm. I myself was watching a film that has just been released which re-enacted WW1. It started off OK but the graphics were so horrific that it upset me. It's really not what this forum is about, so we should automatically ensure our references are good ones. Provox was a good discussion person so it seems a bit silly to have to use shock propaganda.
