We were both out of line, but I accept it and apologised. You know this war is getting to me, the more I hear about it, the worse it gets to me. I've a friend from there, I shouldn't know her, but because of the war she had to flee. Her city is still being bombed. What we are seeing is pure evil from Putin and his cabal. But to see some of the malicious cheerleading of this from ProVox and guess who is as bad. They know what they're doing.

I find non-Western countries understand it all very well. The problem is our news is now just a joke. Yesterday for example they discovered it was Ukraine that blew up the pipeline as some main German newspapers simultaneously published the "evidence", and now the BBC is syndicating it.
The Western nations are really going stupid en-masse. I find a few people in the UK are clued up, but generally that tends to be because they source non-Western reports. They are the intelligent ones. If you consume propaganda it destroys the mind. The Ukraine blew up the pipeline bullshit is just chaff to try and divert from the real criminals, thats the US,we all know that it was a act of international terrorism by the US,covered up by its tame vassals,it won't work there is more to come out. A German MP is saying he does not know who blew it up and thinks the Ukraine thing is a false flag and is calling for an international investigation led by the UN. This was on the radio yesterday where the media interviewer was really trying to push him into thinking it was Ukraine. He had to say several times. You can see what is going on in Germany. I mean there are big protests against German involvement in the war, more so than many other countries and he is an MP. It seems like the US is having trouble with it.

That is complete BULLSHIT … 99.9999% of the writing (apart from Vinny’s posts here) is anti-war in nature … and calls out the West’s TOTAL failure to push Zelenski into Peace Talks that Putin offered in January/Feb ‘22. …. The terrible destruction of Ukraine after that date … is entirely due to the WEST pushing guns, bombs, missiles, drones, military advisors, special forces operatives, mercenaries and CIA ‘false flag’ operatives into the zones of conflict. What has happened since is a tragedy of destruction that could - and should - have been avoided … if the WEST Controllers had wanted that. They didn’t. This shitty situation was engineered years before Putin was pushed to invade … and everyone knows that now … except “malicious war-mongering cheerleaders” like VINNY. … and stooges like you … that are determined to flush WESTERN morality and truth down the toilet! …. Purely to boost the coffers of the Israeli/American/French/British Arms Industries … and bolster the greed of the Soros Globalist Posse fighting for more World Energy/Resource Markets. … now scuttle off and collect your 30 pieces of silver … People who engineered this disgust most of the HUMAN Race.

You cannot have peace talks with someone who wants to kill you.

Just have not seen her post for months?
I recall the security situation there had deteriorated somewhat so might be a factor.

Another sad loss was Monroe. I don't think she switched over to this forum, like a few others didn't as well. She might not have got the message.

But to see some of the malicious cheerleading of this from ProVox and guess who is as bad. They know what they're doing. I can fully understand why President Putin took the decision. The basis of it was as his duty as president to protect the Russian state. That's like say you doing a job with a contract that says when in our employment you must do this work for all our clients and say one day you find your new client is Saddam and you think one thing but have agreed to do the opposite. I really don't think he liked making the decision that would lead to thousands of deaths of his own people and many more in Ukraine, but the worry was the long-term effect of not doing it would have eventually ended in the US taking political control of Russia and all that it would entail, a big unknown I must admit.
As for cheerleading, I agree it is most repulsive and I see it all the time in social media. The Christians would say this is all down to the imperfections of man and original sin. Anyway, back on the ground I think the Russians will win. The geopolitical stakes on this are very high, for if Russia does win then the US could go down. The US is a bit like the Wizard of Oz. All thse secure defences and Hollywood stuff is for show, which hides the fact the US military is actually very weak. Its stockpiles of weapons are totally inadequate. Their Swift system is neither the scary monster it was believed to be. They will lose their threats over the world's nations to toe the US line.

Good points, I don't think the US is militarily weak yet have a huge cost supporting such a big military which might not be so good as they make out. I think the stakes are high for all concerned yet this is in Russia's backyard.

It is inconceivable Ukraine can win now. About 200 000 Ukrainian soldiers have died, 3-4X that for casualties. The CIA are recruiting foreign mercenaries to make up the numbers. The US military seem much like we were at the beginning of the pandemic. We really had not prepared for it and had very little stock.

Imo Russia won’t win outright but can’t actually lose . Even if they are driven back into Russia they can still fire missiles into Ukraine , knowing that Ukraine have very few options to stop it. I still see it ending with Russia having Crimea and possibly other provinces signed over to them via a treaty l I expect a few more thousands will die in the meantime .
