I have very mixed feelings about all this, there are things that I do admire about Boris, the piss ups, broken swings, defiance of lockdown rules, these are all plusses, however in his last stint at the helm he was responsible for,
A collapsing NHS.
A collapsing Police Force.
Untrammelled immigration.
An incomplete Brexit.
Promotion of woke ideology that has affected the civil service, armed forces and education system.
A swelling and out of control civil service.
Net zero bollocks.
On the bright side, his reappearance will make Sturgeon and Starmer apoplectic, give cheer to the Ukrainians and make the news more interesting.
At least he is a white English male, didn't think there were any left these days, so with reservations I will cheer him on.

Ventilators were sometimes the cause of patients deaths . They were generally the last resort because initially the doctors in the hot wards didn’t really know what to do with patients who were failing to breathe. Iirc some patients responded better by turning them face down( believe it or not) but I cant remember the details . Ventilators needed oxygen and iirc theatres were used as makeshift ITUs. Anyway you wasn’t always put on a ventilator in intensive care . The recent TV docudrama about Boris and Covid showed that he was put on a CPAC machine in ICU , ventilators were last resort ad sometimes made things worse |
