So the net result is a non-crime has been logged as a crime and an actual crime (a serious threat) has been ignored. Not ignored the Police cannot take it any further due to the lack of evidence IMHO

Not ignored the Police cannot take it any further due to the lack of evidence IMHO It's more likely that they want it to go away rather than be pulled into another scandal. What should be of great concern is that our legal system has been rigged to enforce (for a while now), for all sense and purposes, blasphemy laws, which now comes under the title of hate crime.

Train them in tolerance. As in, have a national kick the Koran around the classroom day until these big whiny insecure babies learn to live with it.

I think there more to this story than just a few scuffed pages and a torn page has reported. Especally seeing the school suspened the boys and called the police in and then the police charging the Boys. It seems one of the Boys brought the koran in to damage it publicly. I have every confidence that the left wing establishment who are terrified of offending aggressive Muslims have referred these schoolboys to the Prevent programme for being 'far right' and they will now have terrorism markers on them.

It's intriguing that such issues are even in doubt or a matter of discussion. When did we lose a war to the Muslims? Do we not get to make our own rules until we do? Labour is full of these far-left weirdos who roll over to Islam and claim racism toward everything that doesn't. The police are pressured to persecute children over a crappy book being dropped whilst calling it a hate incident. The entire thing is humiliating to the UK, and that's why we have these moronic lefties attempting to make it into something even more.
I'm no fan of the Labour party, but they haven't been in power since that Gordon Bennet The conservatives now have had time to either repeal these awful laws or make moves to amend them so they are consistent with Western Human rights rather than Islamic law, but have (it seems) steadfastly refused to make any such attempt. In fact, I believe the Conservative party have in many cases been the creator of this nonsense. We have a clash between a roughly secular tradition and Muslim theocratic enforcement - and in such a clash one side is going to have to have their traditions humiliated. The UK government decided some time ago that it is your traditions that need to go.

Perhaps, but this simply brings into question their Conservative status, where the party (an organisation with a single goal) is more important than the country they're supposidly trusted to govern. If they did kick up a fuss they risk losing the so-called multicultural support which they took from the Labour party. It's predominantly Labour supporters who try and police opinion at ground level (they have the network), and I think it's safe to say that the majority are taken for granted at both ends. The Conservative PM will support far-left militant movements who scream racism, Cameron is the proof of this.

With Islam they would lose thousands of votes if they restricted it and potentially cause civil disorder.

It wasn't that long ago when the far-left were terrorists in Europe. They're more organised today and have infiltrated the institutions, and they still terrorise the people with their insane idealism. The far-right is a mislabel of something else, like calling the old BNP far-right even though outside of any racial matters they would have run the country like Labour in the days of nationalisation.

I agree. These days as far as the left are concerned, anyone who doesn't support Labour is far right.
