We should bomb Afghanistan just in case. Don't even joke about it. There are posters on here, and idiots of all religions out there, who'd LOVE a holy war.

I think there more to this story than just a few scuffed pages and a torn page has reported. Especally seeing the school suspened the boys and called the police in and then the police charging the Boys. It seems one of the Boys brought the koran in to damage it publicly. Now you are not even allowed to drop the book of bullshit in wakefield.......Well, of course the police haven't got anything better to do, have they in law abiding wakefield?.
Boy who 'accidentally dropped a copy of the Quran at Wakefield school' receives death threats: Teenager is left 'absolutely petrified' by messages
The mother of a 14-year-old boy said he was 'very silly' and is 'very remorseful' The Home Secretary has expressed concern over the police's involvement The boy brought in a copy of the holy text as a forfeit for losing a video game
Exactly , the boys have not been charged with anything nor will they be the Police have written this nonsense off no criminal offence committed , the threats made against the boy or boys is a crime but that I suspect will be kicked into the long grass as the mother of the boy at the centre of this does not want anyone prosecuted . This appears to have been blown up out of all proportion by rumours, as the Police have spoken to the Imam at the local Mosque and explained everything he should tell his congregation what really happened and to move on

The School suspended the boys involved hasty decision IMO, but as the boys have been threatened probably by Muslim Religious Zealots for this storm in a tea cup perhaps for the better to calm things down, the Police obviously were made aware of the threats made so recorded it and became involved , but as the Mother of the Autistic Boy has stated she does not want them to pursue or prosecute anyone, therefore the Police cannot even if they wanted to take it any further which I very much doubt. IMHO That's not true. When a law has been broken the police do NOT need the permission of the victim to take action. I'm absolutely sure that the police don't want to take any action - mostly because they'd probably be accused of "racism" by the Left - but it was their duty to do so. Threatening people with death is against the law and would normally result police action. In this case it was very important to find the people who threatened the boy and charge them with incitement to violence - which carries severe penalties. It's about time that muslims learnt the laws of this country. When I lived in the UAE I lived by their laws - and if had broken any I would have been severely punished. Yet we seem to be afraid to take any action against muslims even when they commit very serious crimes.

The only police action that should have been taken was to find those who threatened the boy and charge them with incitement.

Yet we seem to be afraid to take any action against muslims even when they commit very serious crimes. I disagree I am no lawyer but IMHO Police do not decide who is charged and taken to Court, the CPS make that decision when the Police present the evidence they have gathered to the CPS, they have three choices NFA, No Further Action, a Caution , or tell the Police to charge the suspect or suspects How ever the Police cannot force an alleged victim of crime to give an evidential victim witness statement, nor anyone else who may have witnessed the event, in this case the Mother of the Autistic Boy who brought the Koran to school does not want anyone who made the threats against her son to be taken to Court. The Police IMO cannot force her to allow the Police take a statement from her son who is the alleged victim as he is a Juvenile against her will, plus of course the ordeal of him standing up in Court to give evidence may be too much for him Yorkshire Police have logged this as a hate crime , and closed the case on this which IMHO is the correct course of action, I just hope this ends this matter. I agree with you it is time that some Muslims realised they should respect the Laws of the land, but unfortunately some of them never will.

So the net result is a non-crime has been logged as a crime and an actual crime (a serious threat) has been ignored.

It's intriguing that such issues are even in doubt or a matter of discussion. When did we lose a war to the Muslims? Do we not get to make our own rules until we do? Labour is full of these far-left weirdos who roll over to Islam and claim racism toward everything that doesn't. The police are pressured to persecute children over a crappy book being dropped whilst calling it a hate incident. The entire thing is humiliating to the UK, and that's why we have these moronic lefties attempting to make it into something even more.

If the Boy or Boys had done that in front of fellow pupils who are devout Muslims and they reacted badly were very upset , they could well have been taken to Court under offences under the Public Order Act Threatening behaviour/ Racially or religiously aggravated threatening behaviour – fear or provocation of violence Disorderly behaviour/ Racially or religiously aggravated disorderly behaviour Disorderly behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress/ Racially or religiously aggravated disorderly behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress Likewise if a Muslim pupil had torn up the Bible in front of devout Christian pupils and they reacted badly and very upset
