And it was labour who wanted the lockdowns to remain longer and harder...Look at the frigging mess they made of it in Wales....Along with the snp in Scotland. With much lower populations to look after

Remember Blair and Labour 24 Hours to save the NHS what changed not a lot they did not even get rid of mixed wards as they promised , then what did he do he opened the flood gates to thousands of people from Asia to come here more patients for the NHS
As for the Lie the left peddle and have done for years the Tory's want to privatize the NHS what a LOB, they have told that lie enough they now believe their own lie, Tory's had years to do it in and it has not happened .
Private Hospitals have been in place in the UK for flipping years, Private Companies built them created them not the Tories , some of the Companies are not UK based either, Private Hospitals actually reduce NHS waiting lists a little by treating NHS Patients, those that can pay or have Private Medical Insurance and avail themselves of Private Care means a lower demand on the NHS.
In early March 2021 when Covid had arrived the Tories initiative which they had put in place earlier to recruit more Nurses and Doctors showed there were 123,000 Doctors and 301,491 Nurses in the NHS an increase from 2020 of an extra 6.600 Doctors and an increase of 10,900 Nurses.
Due to the increase of the Population of the UK which is added to every day by new arrivals the population is now roughly 66 Million, the NHS cannot possibly deal with the demand on it now a least a million people a day present themselves to A&E.
GP's we were short of then long before Covid arrived

So it's Matt Hancock who caused Covid?
Why stop at him, how about WHO who fucked things up, they were so busy trying to cover up for China, the source of Covid that they cost tens of thousands of world wide deaths, if they had done their job they would have immediately grounded all flights in and out of China, instead they waited and waited until China gave them the go-ahead, after they'd sorted out all their cover ups.

'WHO who fucked things up'
Delusional ^
Jan 30th 2020 the WHO tells the UK it is an emergency requiring immediate action. Boris and co then do nothing for weeks and weeks. And now we know from his own tame ghost writer that Hancock was routinely ignoring expert advice.

How WHO Became China’s Coronavirus Accomplice Beijing is pushing to become a public health superpower—and quickly found a willing international partner.
After initial denials and cover-ups, China successfully contained the COVID-19 outbreak—but not before it had exported many cases to the rest of the world. Today, despite the falsehoods it initially passed on, which played a critical role in delaying global response, it’s trying to leverage its reputed success story into a stronger position on international health bodies.
Most critically, Beijing succeeded from the start in steering the World Health Organization (WHO), which both receives funding from China and is dependent on the regime of the Communist Party on many levels. Its international experts didn’t get access to the country until Director-General Tedros Adhanom visited President Xi Jinping at the end of January. Before then, WHO was uncritically repeating information from the Chinese authorities, ignoring warnings from Taiwanese doctors—unrepresented in WHO, which is a United Nations body—and reluctant to declare a “public health emergency of international concern,” denying after a meeting Jan. 22 that there was any need to do so.
