Nice one. If more kids pass it can't be because they're cleverer than before, it must be the exams easier. Be good if it were true though - just think, kids get 3 times as clever in just 30 years.. LOL they are all little saints and budding brain surgeons don't you know?

Not sure that is particularly accurate given the massive grade inflation we have seen over the years. Indeed. This is well known but lefties try to gaslight us into believe otherwise . Well known to be the benefit of comprehensive education?

You obviously missed my post (may have been at the old place) where some pupils were given a 1950s GCSE exam and all but one failed. It was then revealed that the exam they had been given was a 1950s 11-plus. In all probability you learnt simple 3Rs because your family taught you, not because you went to a bloody nursery school. Or maybe 1950's questions weren't relevant today and kids didn't know about LSD or ounces. Don't be daft Zany.

Not sure that is particularly accurate given the massive grade inflation we have seen over the years. Not sure what your point is, what I can see is a continued improvement in the percentages of people passing GCSEs at various levels. Backed presumably by the comprehensive system. So the Comprehensive System led to kids increasing their intelligence by 300% in just 30 years - wow a terrific result which led to the UK Education system being like the NHS - the envy of the civilised world...

Obviously not, why do you insist on making yourself look so silly. Around 2000 Blair was told by the CBI that many applicants for jobs by people around 25 years old were made by people who couldn't even fill in the application form properly. Conditions and investment in education are the most likely causes. Increase in teacher numbers, Teacher helpers, Experienced teachers enticed back into education, new schools and facilities. Along with substantial successes thanks to the comprehensive system plus the attention to education paid by NL . Are the most likely reasons for the improvements.

Well known to be the benefit of comprehensive education? Grade inflation benefits the mediocre and leftie gaslighters . How did grade inflation increase the passes at A and A* levels?

Funny that PISA tests are for 15 year old students as a whole. Funny how it all went down hill after 2012.

It is likely that there has always been isolated cases of very good schools, NL made an effort to increase the number of very good schools.
