What about the fuck off great earthquake in Japan at the end of 2015? FFS its like arguing with a bloody bunch of inbred two year olds to get through to you and your ilk.. The chips come largely from China and South Korea. Stop desperately looking for something else to blame. Total Bollocks who do you think the worlds largest silicon producer was until the earthquake ? You get shot down on one thing and then just regurgitate the same old remainer bullshit we have heard a thousand times before.......And what about supply and demand?.....Like I stated the majority do not want a fucking car with a sewing machine as an engine.

And lets not forget, the independent and sovereign UK is the fifth largest economy in the world. It slipped into 6th place a couple of years ago. And frankly it feels like we are living in some far poorer country. One which can't support a health system is in serious trouble. That and everything else, our roads are terrible compared to the EU.

More asylum seekers were sent to the UK than are currently arriving? Really? Isn't it the case that asylum seekers were crossing the EU and then entering the UK and some of those were sent back under the Dublin Regulations; whereas, none are currently being sent back. LOL - how difficult is this?. When we were in the EU and subject to the Dublin Agreement the other EU countries sent us more asylum seekers than we returned to them - so as an exercise in reducing asylum numbers it failed at the first hurdle. The EU were quite happy to dump asylum seekers on the UK. Please stop telling lies. Just compare the number of migrants pre 2016 to 2022. The EU didn't SEND asylum seekers. That is people trafficking. The asylum seekers crossed open borders, closely monitored by Europol. The EU took in far more asylum seekers than the UK did. ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php?title=File:F3_Number_of_first-time_asylum_applicants_(non-EU_citizens),_2020_and_2021_(thousands).png

FFS this shortage has been gong on for years...Just a little hint there was a fuck off big earthquake in Japan which set chip production back for years and then the pandemic came along as for now of course car production is lower. It's called supply and demand its only those twats who beleive in all this ECO bollocks that wants a car with a bloody sewing machine as an engine. Piss off. semiconductors is delaying production lines. Ford, General Motors and Fiat Chrysler (now merged with PSA under the name Stellantis) are among the firms that have temporarily shut factories this year. The scarcity of silicon components has caused a slowdown that will delay production of almost 1m vehicles in the first quarter of 2021.Oh dear did the truth hurt....LOL.....Only total pricks wan't fucking cars that are made of ECO bullshit......I gave you the links but no you can't get off your fat arse and read them and we are supposed to take you and your ilk seroiusly FFS

Why don't you stop blaming everyone else and ask the French how they do it? We now have extra British presence on the French side of the Channel. Maybe they will ask. If channel migration decreases then you can say France didn't do enough. If it stays the same you will have to ask why the British over there let's the migrants cross. Won't you? Indeed, mad isn't it. The British government have paid the French government cĀ£120 million in two payments. It's almost laughable, I mean we are paying the French to police their own border, lol. And what a raging success it's been, only 50,000 illegals managed to evade French border guards, as they dragged dinghies across two miles of beach in broad daylight, often in front of TV cameras. Tell me Oracle, why do you think we, the British, should patrol another countries borders? The French patrol their south coast, migrant boats are not allowed to land on French soil. Why shouldn't we adopt the same rule? Illegal migrants are not the reason our economy is tanking, they're a distraction to keep Brexiters on track. LOOK! OVER THERE, an Albanian.

Any explanations ? Car manufacturing rose in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 But then fell in 2016, and then fell steep 2017 to 2020, and continues to fall Is this one of the "many advantages" of Brexit ? car manufacturing in Germany has also fallen since 2016 - is that due to Brexit as well? I never realised we were so powerful..

One of the many reasons China is investing so heavily in Africa is because they are desperate to obtain rare earth metals needed for the production of semiconductor chips.

I am both amused and fed up with the diversions, ducking and diving, excuses that are folklore and the jam tomorrow bullshit. If Brexit and sovereignty was so valuable we wouldn't have the slowest growth of comparable economies. We wouldn't have an employee problem. We could afford a proper health system. We could increase productivity instead of watching it tanking. We wouldn't have to beg retired people to return to work when they have to look after families who cannot afford childcare or retirement homes. We wouldn't be filling in sheets of paperwork and paying customs duties on trade, both of which have caused the closure of hundreds of SME'S which started because the EU offered financial incentives to start up.
I am still waiting for all those benefits .

To manufacture chips, or semiconductors, you need various rare earth metals. China has cornered the market in extracting these metals from various countries in Africa.
