You've pulled a 9 ton trailer? 3.5 ton is the legal limit on a car licence. Are you a lorry driver? 9000 lb is not 9 tons. It's just over 4 tonnes. As he speaks in lb, he sounds as if he's talking America, but what would I know. However, it's good to know your maths cannot be trusted for future reference. lol

I'm not sure what you are smoking but I pulled a 9,000lb travel trailer with a petrol truck with no issue. How far do you expect to get in your EV pulling that sort of weight? You've pulled a 9 ton trailer? 3.5 ton is the legal limit on a car licence. Are you a lorry driver? Well I am actually (class 1) - but I am talking about North America.

They could have pulled two spark wires from both banks and that would have used more fuel/ Pulling two plugs per bank would not as there would be no sucktion thats why...
EDIT BTW if the V8 was efi you could pop two injector wires per bank and no fuel would be wasted...
Super. Regular.

LOL good to see EV's and hybrids at the bottom of the list...
Used car sales slumped 8.5% last year despite strong demand and record second-hand prices as dealers struggled to stock their forecourts Some 6.9m vehicles changed hands, down from 7.5m during 2021, SMMT said Trade body said new car supply issued had a knock-on effect for the used market Ford's Fiesta - the most common car on Britain's roads - changed hands most

Oh yes I'm sure you know a bloke who drives from Exeter to Leeds every day, via Istanbul. So best he doesn't get a 300 mile EV.

FFS I know plenty who have purchased the ECO lemmons and can't even make it to Exter along the A380 if they have their heaters or air con on.....No wonder no one wants the crap.

I doubt you know anyone open minded enough to buy an EV. If EV's were better than ICE cars they wouldn't need to legislate to outlaw the sale of ICE cars.. Already answered this several times. The legislation to outlaw ICE cars was not to force people to buy electric ones, but to cut Co2 emissions in the future. Knowing there would need to be an alternative governments funded and encouraged the development of EV's. However EV's are now developed to a standard that make them viable for most people with the exception of those few who need to travel regularly from London to Edinburgh and those needing to tow a 3 ton trailer. Incidentally The same is now starting to happen with gas central heating. It will become illegal to install gas boilers and at the same time heat pump technology development and installation will get government help.

The legislation to outlaw ICE cars was not to force people to buy electric ones, but to cut Co2 emissions in the future. If EV's were better then the market would ensure that they replaced ICE cars and therefore cut CO2 emissions - but we all know that people will not willingly buy them so they need to be coerced by legislation. It's the same with heat pumps - we currently have a technology that works well and are going to be forced to replace it with a less good technology. For the first time in history we have stopped having technological progress.

There is no coercion at the moment, yet still they buy them. 267,000 in 2022 and growing. You can still buy a gas guzzler if you want one. But stop pretending the situation is static, EV's are getting better every year and every year to arguments against them get knocked back. I heat my home with them and they are brilliant. We don't have hot and cold spots. The temperature is a constant 22 degrees everywhere and they cost about the same to run as gas central heating. As ever you are behind the curve. However these are also improving, mine doesn't heat my water, but the new ones will. I'm sure some old men said the same when they banned coal fires in London. But sometimes progress is making the planet better rather than your personal life.
