It certainly is. You chose to remain in the Union and didn't follow through with all your bluster, unfortunately it will be same next time. we chose to remain in the european union. I think you are going to have to give up your english independence from europe to keep scotland according to the westmsinter elite.
Wont that be great om ? Fellow europeans all together? Just think , you can dust down the trusty old SLR to join up to the european army to help ukraine . Fighting for the european flag , and the brussells parliament.

So salmond said no debt share then , and the rest is history.
Personally i would tell them to keep their pound , and walk debt free. We could then start offering the argies our share in las malvinas , or the spanish our share in gibraltar that sort of thing.
Then start turning the water taps off , and the oil , and 62 % of the north sea gas . Two can play that game om.
Little england , of which scotland is three fifths the size , cannot feed fuel or power its popualtion without outside help. Scotland can. Many times over.
Of course by that stage , all trade deals you have with us will be conducted through the EU. ...and vice versa.
I have Spanish in-laws and when Catalonia looked poised to break the in-laws said if they go they will never buy any product from them again. Cava was mentioned, haha. This is why it needs to be seen as being a fair departure. Is this more of the you need us more than we need you that we heard when england left the EU? Brussells was going to collapse under the protests of german car makers if england didnt get a fair deal , they would stop buying bmw?
What happened? You got told to get stuffed , and northern ireland taken off you for punishment?
Stope it mate , wull ye?

I think it was Farage that talked about German business and specifically car makers and was clearly wrong.
German business was clearly unhappy yet political control was stronger.
Will be interesting to see what happens in the near future with electronic consumer deliverables from the EU as the economy picks up post COV-ID.
