I'm sure then that whatever Party is advocating this will have a landslide of support at the next election. I am familiar with Starmer. He will never advocate this because he wants to be elected. He will deny any intention of doing this if asked. But if and when he gets in he will do it after all. Because that's the kind of politician he is For the UK to rejoin and part of the EU it would take years of negotiation and the consent of all the other members. I doubt I will see it in my lifetime. The lie about the EU needing the UK blah blah has been clearly shown to have been yet another Boris inspired jingoistic piece of bullshit that appealed to those who misunderstood Britain's influence in the world and thought that being in the top percentile of wealthy countries made us indispensable. We aren't. We now have to find a way to change our perception of ourselves and develop new strengths. I wouldn't bet on either outcome. It is up to a new generation.

Do I? I had better update my satnav then. Now what is your opinion on the OP? Or don't you want to admit it is true and are deliberately diverting the conversation?

If I were a betting man, I would now begin to lay out the odds as to when ( not if ) we are back in the Single Market or somehow aligned with, or part of the European Economic Area. Some people cannot see further than the end of their noses, and refuse to accept what is over the horizon, but to not acknowledge that it is in your best interests to work closely, and in alignement, with your neighbours, who are also your most important trading partners, is sheer obstinacy. So it's back to the fabled "four freedoms" do you think? And there will be no borders for trade. Why can't we have the EEC? Without the EU parliament and all that goes with it.

There will always be Remainer filth desperate to betray the UK to the EU, but I dare say that we will survive

Because the EEC was meant to morph into the EU and then the United States of Europe and result in an annual festival of pissing on the Union Jack.

EU membership isn't, and never was, a left v right issue. The lefty woke remaniacs like you have made it so. No, that's just your two dimensional interpretation of events. If your only answer is to shout "lefty woke", then to be honest you've probably lost the argument. In my pro-EU group we have members who have come from all backgrounds, including Tory. If all you have to say is leftie woke, then you have failed to understand. I'll repeat again, EU membership was never a left right issue.

You remainics cannot even be truthful to yourselves let alone the rest of us.

Any large organization has to be able to make decisions and make rules and take responsibility for decisions and rules made.
