There certainly were enough total prats, lol The fact that your side failed to come up with a convincing argument and so lost indicates that the prats were in charge of your campaign.. I don't think his man Corbyn was too keen on the EU either. Then again, at least Corbyn had some conviction on that front. Left wingers bemoan Brexit yet demand we enter the most neoliberal trading bloc in the world. The only place on the planet where bankers & transnational capitalists have gouged away borders for their own financial gain. They and the trade unionists blather on about how the ECJ protects worker's rights yet the free movement of goods, capital, services and people trump the right to strike under the 'Viking Judgement'. It is a fundamental right in the EU for companies to relocate to member states (from country to country) where the can search and search for lower and lower labour costs. eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX:62005CC0438The EU's fundamental rights are all about the markets as with the globalists in Davos. Yet, we have alleged left-winger on here telling us how great it would be to be part of the most neoliberal bloc on the planet. Mental gymnastics. On the Working Time Directive the EY mandated that a minimum of 20 days a year must be set aside by companies for employer's holidays. In Britain it is also a minimum of 20 days plus the 8 bank holidays. Bringing the UK's minimum up to 28 days per year for employer holidays. EU law on maternity leave is pay and leave for up to 14 weeks. British law on maternity leave mandates up to 52 weeks and maternity pay for 39 weeks. With this snippet of British law above, you could at least see for all his sins, why a true old school leftie like Corbyn never rammed remain down the British people's throats.

That isn't what the EU think, it might be what you think but it isn't the case

For heavens sake. One unelected citizen represents 27 countries?? Please dont insult me like that again. Verhofsted has always been in support of British membership but he doesn't represent anyone but his constituency now.

Back to sovereignty again. That's all any one's really got isn't it? Despite the fact the only time Parliamentary Supremacy was threatened in any meaningful way was when Boris tried to subvert it by unlawfully proroguing it in an attempt to sneak us out with no deal. Don't talk bloody nonsense Monte. Sovereignty was not threatened. It was handed to the EU on a silver platter by John the Bastard Major. See EU communities Act - Treaty of Lisbon - Treaty of Maastricht. All signed on behalf of the British people, but never with their consent. The consent was in the election manifesto. I wonder how many people actually read them.

Before taking phrases and headlines out of context, ask yourself why Starmer might want to talk to the EU. It might have something to do with Northern Ireland or any number of other issues. Or do you prefer that a potential PM of the UK never speaks to anyone from the EU?

By that token, you only represent yourself and therefore your opinion on the EU wanting nothing to do with Britain is worthless.

You are the one posting "bloody nonsense" small parts of Sovereignty were shared within the EU by all member countries for the mutual benefit of all member countries. The UK was still primarily a sovereign country.

Was always going to happen I recall the Netherlands premier saying he would never allow their country a vote as they might vote to leave. Now we see 30k Dutch farms being forcibly closed due to the WEF. The Netherlands obviously is losing it's democracy stealthily. We got out at the right time, there are the Americas, Asia and Australia if aonyone wants to travel without Fourth Reich's red tape, __"Farmers express fury at government drive to tackle nitrogen pollution through a major reduction in numbers of pigs, cattle and chickens in the Netherlands"__ www.theguardian.com/environment/2022/jul/21/emotion-and-pain-as-dutch-farmers-fight-back-against-huge-cuts-to-livestockLooks like democracy is alive and well in the Netherlands.

I remember it well in the news, producers were throwing produce out. Try to nit pick all the words and what producers could have done etc.. But in the late 80's / early 90's, that was front page news. You can’t educate pork mate. Because once you have shown up their total bullshit for what it is, they will go off on a tangent and start the next part of their total pro remain bullshit. It wouldn’t be so bad if they had a new argument but all they have is the same old bullshit we have all heard a thousand times before. None of them have an original thought in their head, yet another result of sharing the same very lonely and addled pro EUSSR mono brain cell. Sad innit? If only you would allow more than one brain cell to activate, then your posts might be worth the space they waste.

Could someone please tell me how Brexit has improved their lives? Do we get more money? Have we got better cars, better clothes, better homes? Are we better fed? Are our children better educated? Now come on. We've been told it has cost us £100 billion so far and even Rees Mogg has said it might take 50 years for any real benefits to be felt by ordinary people. Has anyone, anyone at all, felt any tangible benefits yet?
