The Tories really have fucked themselves, stupid twats. And now Truss has to adopt the policies of the man she beat for the leadership. You couldn't make it up. I said that they should have gone for Sunak. I hate being right all the time. I agree, Sunak should have been the man in No10. Now they're heading for the opposition benches and a tearful resignation from Liz Truss.

He's gone faster than a new manager at Leeds! Hunt is the fourth chancellor in three months. In comparison football managers look pretty secure.

Liz Truss is so useless she even forgot her own name when signing the latter to Kwasi - look at the bottom

I disagree about Sunak, he failed to appreciate that stabbing a popular prime minister in the back, and like it or not Boris was popular with much of the electorate, would ruin his chances of becoming PM. He may be intelligent, but perhaps he lacks common sense.

People that knowingly put known sex abusers into positions of power where they can more freely abuse, tend not to have a great circle of friends.

Well you say that, but when Boris was forced out there was a public backlash that surprised the PCP, and all day I've been listening to people on the radio saying anyone but Sunak because he stabbed Boris in the back.

Said a man who backs Putin.
Meanwhile back in the real world, if they install Sunak as PM then I might consider voting for them. If not, then I might consider not voting at all.

I think Mogg is the best for the job. I also think he is one of the few to openly support the PM at this time.
I'll bet 20p that she chooses him. If he is stupid, he'll accept.
Not a job for anyone who wants a career in politics at this time.
Never heard of Therese Coffey. So I guess it will be her who wants it.

I agree, with the current situation and less than two years until the next general election, the current cabinet is not a job for anyone who wants a career in politics.

A few vocal people loved him and a few more may have drunk to forget but his popularity had plummeted big time well before Sunak couldn't stomach backing the idiot that backed Pincher yougov.co.uk/topics/politics/trackers/boris-johnson-approval-rating

Pretty much where I am but maybe Penny Mordaunt could get it too. Actually Sir Graham Brady always looks like a sound man but seems he has too much sense to take on any front bench role let alone PM

Not exactly a fan of Starmer, but I support GB energy and for that alone he is worth a vote.

Being a conservative party member, I've just being emailed by party chairman Jake Berry. The message was very much in the tone of 'great news' Jeremy Hunt has been appointed as the chancellor, blah blah bullshit bullshit etc.
I won't go into my reply, suffice to say this is not great news. It's bad enough that Hunt was a useless Health Secretary and is on the left of the party, if they replace Truss with Sunak I will not vote conservative at the next election. It's not much but it's all I can do.

It's not much but it's all I can do. I'm surprised Jake Berry didn't ask you to get a better paid Job to help donate to the Trussonomics blackhole Rackham. Even after the second u-turn,there is still 30bn to find.
