Still no answer as to why the UK has been unable to establish its claim to have regained control of its borders. Dover is in England, part of the UK, not France. Blaming the French — which probably takes more than double the number of migrants the UK does — is no answer… And then fobs them off to the UK.

Rubbish! For their skills and qualifications they are very low paid, much more low paid than they used to be thanks to the Tories and getting ever poorer every year. With their skills they can earn far more abroad or outside the NHS here. Why the fuck do you think the NHS is on its knees due to a retention and recruitment crisis? You have got to be just about the only one around here stupid enough to think they are well paid. It shows your ignorance and malice. They are very well paid for what they do. I see you and your ilk who support this madness haven’t got the balls to comment on the FACT that 500 peeps extra are dying each week because of the NHS antics or the FACT the so called managers can’t even order the basic requirements that is a basic requirement at the sharp end like Oxygen etc. Would you care to explain why?. Of course you will ignore it and still carry on with your usual rant in support of the lefty free loaders. And I am far from ignorant as you well know. This rubbish positively oozes sheer ignorance.

We shouldn't have any need for food banks. Is there any developed country that doesn’t have food banks or some similar charity? State welfare is too cumbersome and bureaucratic to react in a timely fashion… We never used to need food banks in this country. They first appeared under Blair and multiplied like rabbits under the Tories.

Now why am I not surprised. Ad talking of sheer ignorance you are the one who keeps harpng on about nurses skills What skill is there in adimistering an injection or changing a band aid. And some of them can't even do that.

NHS problems are self inflicted. Have millions to spend on woke ideas and translatiing letters into 40+ languages. Bullying is rife procurement chaotic, management resistant to change or adapt. Hospitals in chaos, but GPs have been closed since christmas eve and my GP is complaining he can't book his car in for service until next Thursday 12th January as my freind replied I can't get an appointment to see you until the 19th

So not wishing workers to suffer across the board pay cuts makes me a left wing extremist does it? Well you wanting that makes you a Tory fellow traveller in my book. But as a supposed extremist I am in good company. Everyone who does not bow down to the altar of Tony Blair - aka Tory Blur - is an extremist in your eyes. Which is an Orwellian abuse of the English language of a kind we are familiar with from all dishonest and lying Blairites 1. What a silly comment, that you insist on using your limited logic to distort my comments makes you a half educated fool. As usual you ignore the obvious points made and dig deep into your pale red bias in order to make up a nonsense reply. Aka "Tory Blur" all the kids in the junior school will be laughing with you. As a pale Red polishing his pale hammer a sickle the best you can come up with is to accuse so called "Blairites", (aka the lie that they are Thatcher/Tory types) as dishonest liars. Means that you use a lie in an attempt to accuse me of being a liar You really are a joke poster, thanks for the laugh. You say such things about me then when I point out the ridiculousness of your statements you accuse me of distorting your words. You are a waste of my time. At first you were funny, then simply annoying. Now you are just boring me, Of course I will never ever vote for a party with people like you in it. Thanks for confirming the correctness of my decision never to vote Labour.

I think charities such as the Sally Army were latter day foodbanks . I wouldn’t like people of today be misled into thinking everyone was doing fine during the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Obviously there is widespread agreement that Nurses should be paid more - but exactly how much more?
The average salary package for a Nurse in the NHS is worth £50k in England (£60k in London) - so what sort of increase should nurses get?. They have already rejected 7.5% and are asking for 19% - is that a fair increase?

I had an Aunt who lived in a slum that Dickens might have recognised in the early 60s. There was a tv play called’ Cathy come home ‘ that highlighted the hopelessness of poor people iirc.

When I was a kid my Dad and oldest brother did hard manual work. Most evenings ( unless the old man worked nights ) they had masses of mashed spuds with whatever meat my mum cooked ( sometimes pigs trotters) or a pie …with greens , fucking greens . We had once a week chicken stew , sausage stew, Oxtail etc. Saturdays chips and Sundays roast dinners. My mum went to jumble sales for clothes and had one sweet a week. I had two other siblings .The house was a bit cold and damp. But..we never needed free food or charity . Something doesn’t add up
