So the self-conceit and arrogance continue. You can’t find them so they must not exist even though you have someone else telling you otherwise. Well, they do exist so all you have to do is take a humility pill, read back through this thread and keep going until you finally spot them. And there is nothing to debate - which is just as well because, by the evidence that I have seen thus far, you lack the ability and/or the inclination to debate, relying on smart-ass quips, childish goading, reality deniance and twisted mythologies rather than anything remotely complying with accepted debating standards. meant to ask you jack , on your last piece of waffling nonsesne that scotland couldnt withdraw from the treaty of union because apprently scotland no longer exists , did you fnd the time to look and see when ireland withdrew from the treaty of union when similarly according to your illogical wisdom it didnt exist either , even more so than scotland apparently as it had been in a union with england dobule that of scotland , had had its native laws replaced by english law unlike scotland etc etc , but still managed to withdraw from an "undrawable " treaty?

Surely even someone as unjustifiably arrogant and conceited as you understands that, if you expect the courtesy of a reply to something, particularly if you are addressing someone who has zero obligation to reply to you, then you should first ask your question in a courteous manner, otherwise you run the risk of, and are entitled to expect nothing more than, being ignored. That said, I have addressed this issue a couple of times on here already (once directly with you) although whether either was in response to whatever particular question you refer to above, I am not sure. However, as I say, my answer to this point is already captured on this forum so no need for me to repeat ad infinitum just because you couldn’t grasp it or, by the looks of what you say above, my answer to you on the Treaty of Union 1706 from an earlier exchange either. |

You are not entitled to expect any help from me given the nature of your words highlighted above, and I am not prepared to give it, so follow the thread back and find them yourself. BTW - just so you know, when you do find them, the conventional response in polite society, particularly from someone who self-professes himself to exhibit humility and dignity, is to apologise unreservedly and to withdraw his comments. The irish declaration of independence in 1918 , by the elected representatives of ireland , can be found in the national library proclamations in dublin where they reject the treaty of union and english parliamentary rule.
Historians such as Dorothy macardle , in "the irish republic" 1937 , reiterate the truth that ireland withdrew from the treaty of union which had been forced on the irish people by force and fraud.
So its demonstrably untrue your lie that a country cannot withdraw from the treaty of union with England as it no longer exists. Ireland did just that.

You claimed i implied the scottish parliament controls uk passports. I call that another of your invented implied lies , and will re clarify my position regarding changing gender.
Scotland since the acts of union and subsequent treaty had our church remain independent of englands church as a key concession of westmisnter.
The church of scotland kept records of births deaths and marriages until the formation of the registry office in the mid nineteenth century . So since 1707 , and later 1801 , as the uk state developed , scotland has always issued scottish brith death and marriage documents , not the uk. Nothing whatsoever to do with devolution.
Its been the law since 2004 , under the labour governments at both holyrood , cardiff and westmisnter , for people across scotland , england and wales , to legally change gender using the constituent nations birth certificates.
What i said to another forum member is "presumably" this then means the information collected by the home office , a branch of uk governance , from constituent nations birth certificates and people legally changing genders , is then put onto a uk passport.
So i have not in any way claimed the scottish parliament controls uk passports. A demonstrable lie once again from you , and you wonder why you are treated with such scorn by the various scottish posters on this site?
