When scotland gains its independence , i think we should build statues to the anglo conservative party and place them in george square , for services to the independence cause.
I dont know who is advising the dimwits at tory hq , but they are by far the best recruiting sergeants the indy movement could wish for.
Must buy another bag of popcorn ......
Perhaps the ‘Anglo Conservative Party ‘want a referendum sooner rather than later. Sorry bentley , i missed this inbetween vinnys apopletic fits of rage.
Perhaps they do.

Westminster is overruling a democratically elected legislature afforded autonomy through the Scotland Act. This is a betrayal of the Devolution settlement. It just is.

Thomas, why are you posting a gif of that windbag fraud Alex Jones ? Do you want the SNP to be like him or something ?
Sturgeon lost the referendum, doesn't get anywhere near enough votes to justify her position, lost the court battle, and is now trying to impose idiotic gender legislation which OUR national government has blocked.
She has no mandate for her raging lunacy.
Sack her now.

I wonder what happens if the Scot indies lose the next referendum. Do they just go back to start and try again and again ..all the time telling the rest of us in the UK to mind our own business?

Westminster is overruling a democratically elected legislature afforded autonomy through the Scotland Act. This is a betrayal of the Devolution settlement. It just is. The Commons is overruling an insane policy that legislature had no democratic mandate to put through. Transgender people already have rights through UK wide laws. They can already have sex change operations. Sturgeon did this to pick a fight. Abolish the Scottish Parliament. Bring back direct rule and reform the UK voting system with PR so everyone can benefit.

The same pattern emerges time and again , the natives revolt , until eventually they kick the westminster elite out.
At the minute though ,back on topic , we are discussing the lack of democracy in this disunited kingdom. Wiser heads in England than my dear friend vinny can see the tories are stirring up a hornets nest.
There are many scots who dont agree with the GRR bill , but there are many more who also emphatically disagree with westmisnter intefering in scottish democracy. Quite clearly ,if the de facto english parliament cannot be trusted to honour devolution agreements , then we must bring this union to its final end .

There are so many flaws with the SNPs policy it needs blocking. Not only is it flawed, it's fucking dangerous.
Letting 16 year olds change sex for goodness sake.
Do you have any idea of the danger involved in that ?

Westminster is overruling a democratically elected legislature afforded autonomy through the Scotland Act. This is a betrayal of the Devolution settlement. It just is. Typical westmisnter , as we have seen in many countries , undermining democracy to what they see as their benefit.
If you look over to ireland , at the start of the twentieth century , many irish werent that bothered about independence. Fast forward to the 1916 uprisings , the brutality measured out , the denial of democracy after the 1918 general election , and lo and behold , the irish got the hump , and went independent.
Westmisnter will only rule in scotland as long as the scottish people want it to. If they keep pushing against scots democracy , then we scots are going to push the westminster elite back over the border .

Lets see what the view from Scotland is about all this, well i see its ripping scottish labour to bits , with many like monica lennon angry with starmer and the limp wristed ian union jack murray. Meanwhile , the scottish polis are out looking for anas sarwar who appears to have gone AWOL...

Enacting a policy not in a manifesto for the sake of a cheap fight, is not democratic. Scotland did not vote for the SNP trans legislation.

Go on then, you bottled it last time around, all wind and piss, if you really thought that you would go UDI and see it through, not hang on to UK skirts. Rishy Sunak has shown that he is not going to accept any of Sturgeons bollocks, and there is nothing that you can do about it, particularly as there is no evidence that the majority of Scots even want Separation. Sturgeon has bitten off more than she can chew with this one, and will emerge looking even more stupid and bitter than she looks already, this will be another High Court case that she will lose.

Rishy Sunak has shown that he is not going to accept any of Sturgeons bollocks, You are one to talk about wind and piss , you sat and moaned about being part of the eu for forty years , go your referendum , sneaked a small win , then promptly ran up the anglo saxon surrender flag to the eu over northern ireland.
Now you threaten to send a gunboat up the clyde? Hope its not the same navy ship the iranians captured with their arab dhow.....
Anyway , three cheers for rishi and the tories. A party that hasnt won an election in scotland since 1955 telling our elected representatives whats what. Sounds good to me om.

So the answer is that the indies won’t accept a vote for continuing the union with the rest of the UK. They will whine and whine until they get another go.
