Rwanda is a long way from here, it is very cheap (average house $3k-$5k) and it passes the human rights bullshit, so they are not hanging gays.

Anyways, if it's lawful let's get cracking and send them off there. If they want to appeal subsequently, they can do it from Rwanda. What's not to like? That on the current policy even if they win that appeal they are not to be allowed back? That Rwanda is not a safe country for those whose political views don't align with their current government?

Years ago, isn't it always years ago, they were the days. Anyhoo, for whatever reason I had a short spell with 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards (Now Royal Dragoons, thanks to Tom King and Tory defence cuts) My time with them happened to include Oats day and it was taken very seriously, full regimental parade to remember a brave man, and rightly so. Cant remember the date offhand, but I wasn't in the 'skins' so I didn't give a fuck. They also went mental on St Patricks Day, to be expected. I didn't give a fuck on this occasion either, but who can refuse a party?

Steve, how many Albanian refugees from the war torn state of France are you prepared to accommodate. Stop gobbing off.

The court threw out the sexist claims. If you were really in danger of your life you would not give a shit if it were the women behind the kitchen sink. It's made up bollox in other words. Rwanda is in fact a place which has a great future. It is developing itself.

Justice delayed is justice denied. Why does it take so long to decide what should be a clear principle of law? It's taken many months for this judgement and it will now go to multiple appeals, all of which will take months - or maybe even years - in which time many thousands of illegal immigrants will have come into the country.
Why can't we make emergency legislation - which overrides any other laws - to halt these people one way or another?

More than likely the next case will go to the Supreme Court.

The Civil Service agrees with you. I have no doubt that you are correct. Which leaves 2 possibilities : 1. The government thinks it will be 2. They don't care whether it is or not, as long as it appeals to their supporters

But my point was that we have an EMERGENCY. The govt can make emergency legislation to handle things that need swift resolution. Why doesn't it do it now.
