Now you're getting the hang of it, Benny. That's exactly what's on track to happen with the relationship with the EU. Well we can be friends with benefits but I’m not sure about remarrying. No, the EU doesn't want that. I should think it will be something akin to the Swiss deal. You never know, though. The higher the levels of dissatisfaction, the bolder will be the proposals for revisiting the relationship.

If a closer relationship between the two parties need to be demonstratively mutually beneficial . Whatever benefits the Eurowhiners claim we has during our EU membership means nothing . What matters is how we will benefit as a future EU member.

Right now it isn't about a 'closer relationship' it's about not losing the UK-EU deal we have

The EU and the UK would make pragmatic decisions for our mutual benefit. Instead it became anything but . Don’t tell me it was all the fault of the UK.. Imo we will mend fences with the EU because both parties see the mutual benefits .

I would think that any right minded person would be giving a silent prayer this evening that those heroic politicians who supported Brexit were victorious.
Latest reports are that cash in suitcases and behind settees being found in police raids of EU officials is now being counted in MILLIONS. Thank goodness these misappropriated funds are no longer being funded by the UK taxpayer.

COVID must have been a welcome arrival. Remainers were abusing old people after they lost and did jump around in joy over the the idea that many may die:

Remain today serve as an obstruction, and want failure and all of the bad things. They'd happily organise our economic collapse. It's a hatred that many may not have expected.
