Anti-Brexit sentiment currently holds a significant lead in the polls. According to research, this isn't due entirely to people changing their minds. 'Voter replacement' plays a significant part. Brexit supporters tended to be older. They are simply dying out and they're not being replaced. This research estimates that 35% of the shift against Brexit is attributable to voter replacement. ukandeu.ac.uk/will-support-for-brexit-become-extinct/

COVID must have been a welcome arrival. Not in the least. Brexit is a trivial matter compared to human life. That said, biological realities can't be denied.

Well, you know what happened to the Empire, don't you? Yes. It suffered the same fate as our EU membership has. Been confined to the past .π Poor Steppenwolf and others around here fear we're moving towards Brino. Your time might be better spent trying to put their mind at rest. Good luck.

And they say romance is dead. We can bring back to life . Now you're getting the hang of it, Benny. That's exactly what's on track to happen with the relationship with the EU.

Remain voters were more likely to take other matters into account. So don't expect Labour to campaign in 2024 on any line doubting being out. B) yes older voters did tend to support leave and yes older voters do tend to die more often than younger voters BUT you have to consider the possibility that people change their views as they get older so the new 'over 60s' may collectively be as anti EU as last decades 'over 60s' were.
