Can you imagine for one moment if this was the Tories, the first to be shouting her BIG Gob off would be Rayner, demanding resignation and inquiries, I've always said they are double standard hypocrites, but they've taken this to a whole new level of double standard hypocrisy.

I'm not so sure, when you lie on your CV it's generally a automatic firing. Some of Ms Reeves’s time at the Bank can also be charted through papers she contributed to during her employment there. In a December 2005 paper she is listed as part of the Bank’s structural economic analysis division, which matches the detail on the LinkedIn page. She is also thanked for her contributions to a December 2001 speech by Charlie Bean, who was the Bank of England’s chief economist at the time. Sounds like she was an economist to me.

FFS steve she just shuffled paper clips. She has no more knowledge of finance than she has on brain surgery.. Still she fits in well with all the other illiterate wankers who make up the labour pary we have now....

Yeah the same economist who was part of the 2008 Global Financial Crash 2008 - 2014 ... that says it all ... LOL
He was previously Deputy Governor for Monetary Policy at the Bank of England from 1 July 2008 until 30 June 2014. From 2000 to 2008, he served as Chief Economist at the Bank.

Anyone who knows how government works will know the Treasury have tables which calculate the financial effects of any decision made to raise or reduce taxes, increase benefits and so on. The budget process will have gone through this with civil servants giving advice, even warnings, which the politicians can either heed or ignore. Anyone with decent A levels and common sense could do the Chancellors job with that sort of support, but it is the fact that she appears to have been dishonest which should disqualify her.

Its a growing up thing, with me it was about seven or eight years old, that lies are found out. Can we regard the political class, i include the tories as lying kids, terrified of being found out?....yes.

How worse can it get?
Rachel Reeves caught 'lying' on her CV as GDP growth takes big hit The Tories have laid into the Chancellor as online observers say row should be a resignation matter.
In October the Guido Fawkes website revealed that while she claimed she worked as an “economist” at the Bank of Scotland between 2006 and 2009, she in fact had a more mundane job working in a support unit managing administration, IT and planning matters I listened to someone earlier who said she actually worked in the complaints department. Rachel from accounts has been demoted to Rachel from customer complaints lol.

Irrelevant to the issue. You think the chief economist of the bank of England mentions random admin staff in speeches?

The 'chief economist' at the time who was in charge of a the Global Financial Crisis randomly mentions admin staff in speeches generally suggests he's passing his failing down to junior staff. .... LOL

She was thanked for 'comments' - we have no idea what those comments were, they could have been something as trivial as grammar corrections or points of order about specific financial regulations. She certainly was not cited as a contributor to the content of the speech. One of the others mentioned in the same section of the speech was the guy who advised on public speaking - so I wouldn't get too carried away with this mention.

It surely depends on which advice she had taken at any given time. It might have seemed good advice at the time but then when you are listening to conflicting advice you will have to decide for yourself which makes the most sense. So for instance one could play to your political leanings which is more likely to make sense than one that doesn't.

can be a lot worse... It's amazing the fuckwits didn't notice for 11 years! The fact that Reeves is supposedly in charge of the economy is proof of the collective fuckwittery going on. Those who still support the pathological liar are beyond help, but those currently crying, because they were dumb enough to vote for evil, I say only this: The succubus has no remorse.
