Nope. That's just that you mixed things up. surely you aren't denying comparing to various different times? You sound like the met office with their cherry picked weather stats.

Jesus wept.
My point was I'm better off than last year.
Nothing to do with the government.
YOU invented that I said my life had improved under Labour. I did not say that. You totally made it up.
My life under Labour is the same as what it was earlier under the Tories, i.e. the budget had made no difference to me.
I'm unsure how I can be clearer. If you stop attributing things to me that I haven't said, perhaps you'd understand better.

Jesus wept. My point was I'm better off than last year. before we address things further , can we qualify an exact date for reference on how you are better off to stop your goal post moving. Shall we say the comparison is last November. ? not true. One of the things you mentioned was energy , and energy is under uk government control ,with the policy framework Ofgem operates under set by the uk government. So in this particular area , this is to do with the government directly and indirectly. I did not. I said you implied this to me. Most of the changes in the budget havent taken effect , so again , you are being disingenuous as they havent affected the majority yet. stop moving the goal posts while slyly implying you are having a better life under labour.

stop moving the goal posts while slyly implying you are having a better life under labour. I didn't claim that. I didn't imply it either. You totally invented it.

You implied it , from my point of view. What a shame you ignore the rest of my post. dont worry though Andrew. we are of course only four months into the labour governments inglorious reign. Be sure we will all be here to inform you daily every time things get worse , and how peoples lives are being made a misery under the choices of these labour scum in power. We are all paying double for our energy than what we were under the tories in 2021 ,with a slight increase since labour came to power....so far.......the ending of the WFA , which labours own predictions said would cost the deaths of thousands of pensioners , and more increases to come down the line in January under labour. ...but hey....well done you for paying your mortgage off , and your employers unfreezing your wage.

I won't hold your breath though , with the rise in employers NIC , and much else. Predictions are Reeves budget is going to hit consumers and workers alike further down the line. The Scottish government have informed us this alone is a £25 billion whammy tax on jobs.

ive just went back our exchange on this thread , and in my opinion your posts are full of ambiguous comments where you slyly try and qualify them at the end .Ive read the context of your exchange with om15 . you clearly stated you were better off this year than this time last year no? when I asked how , you then stated three things , wage freeze nothing to do with gov , I agree, mortgage similar , but the energy prices are under regulator control with the gov subsidising suppliers . very ambiguous . even in the post above , you offer two contradictory statements...
No doubt I will be told its my fault , and im not understanding your posts. Correct - you are not understanding my posts. My gas and electric are cheaper than they were last year. My gas and electric are more expensive than they were in the summer. Both are true and I have stated correctly. FFS

in my opinion you clearly did. while lecturing om 15 about factors outside of government control ,when he spoke about thatchers government , the bit I had a problem with was when you posted this... clearly implying you are better off under the labour government now than the tory government last Christmas. You are talking out your backside , and clutching at fucking straws. Do what? 🤣 I seldom agree with Andy but his comment was clearly tongue-in-cheek. And he was right about utility bills too.
