People have become politically very cynical. They are way past that "we need a new party"-phase.

Are you seriously trying to cover for the fact that parliament yet again almost in their entirety voted for an illegal war?

The one that breached the UN charter. Or does that only count when it suits?

I could never have voted for Thatcher or Corbyn because they are both extremists. If you are pro-Corbyn then you need to wake up because you are an extremist. Corby wanted a revolution not a united country. And now there are millions who wouldn't mind a revolution; have you polished your pikestaff? There has always been the discontents and the malcontents, fortunately they don't normally drag intelligent people into physical aggression.

Another Blairite soft thatcherite who thinks a democratic socialist is an extremist. You are more worthy of my contempt than my time. I have already pointed out the continuation of thatcherite policies on housing, deregulation, and privatisation under New Labour. Much of it was Tory lite, just an attempt to bed in thatcherism by making it a bit nicer for a few more people

People have become politically very cynical. They are way past that "we need a new party"-phase. For good reason, things have moved on from a system that says this is your lot and you will accept it without question, now they have more information at their fingertips than ever before, some not so good, admittedly, but the old system is dying slowly but surely. The old you voted for us and whatever we vote for you will accept is no longer acceptable.
