It wouldn't surprise me in the least if this wasn't Starmers EU grand plan.
Destroy the UK economy, so investors and businesses will turn to Europe and abandon the UK, I think Starmer is that sinister, he absolutely obsessed with groveling to the EU and worships the ground they walk on, this is Starmer wanting the UK to beg for help from the EU .... I'm telling you this man is twisted.

Starmer can do nothing more than improve relationships with the EU i.e. find some areas where cooperation is beneficial to both the EU and the UK.

Rachel Reeves humiliated by business chief minutes after speaking at CBI conference.... Rachel Reeves was accused of showing "gall" today after she claimed to be on the side of businesses following her tax-hiking Budget. Speaking at the Confederation of British Industry, the Chancellor reiterated her desire to back businesses by providing a "rock of stability". She told representatives at the conference that the Government will create the conditions to encourage investment, and ruled out any further tax raids on firms over the coming parliament.....
If by "rock of stability" she means guaranteed to remain bad, then she's right. They need to tell us the big plan!! Most business could better handle the increased taxes if sales return to somewhere near normal. Our sales have been at about 65-70% of normal since the beginning of 2023, we were hoping for change, not a guarantee they would remain the same. Rachael LET US SEE THE PLANS! Yes Jonsky, that was me agreeing with you. Bearing in mind that world trade is not too bright at the moment, and the Likes of Germany has seen nearly a million job losses and a steady fall in GDP over the last four years, I'm hoping that the April budget 2025 will have something to cheer many people up. The UK economy did need a realignment, I'm equally hoping the government doesn't make all their corrections at such a speed that it fills the mouths of the long term Labour detractors who just can't wait to further their dark rhetoric agenda.

It seems Rachel from accounts wants to wreck the UK in reord time.. Then you know something I don't. And that's the point. FFS it doesn't take much to see that we are going to hell in a hand bag...
