I think its hard to criticise the new government as they seem to have done nothing of any significance.
Of course that's my objection to them! (And yes I did vote for them, naah naah n naah naah. )
They feel like a government in its last year defending its decisions and explaining why the economy is shit. Where is the hope?
Where the big decisions, the plans to build these 300 homes every year, the onshore wind farms being given permission.
Where's the funding for a factory building Potterton style houses to counter the lack of trades.
Many folks on here accused Sir Kier of being dull, now I'm beginning to agree, he lacks imagination and sadly I see no one else in the cabinet to take that role.

.You are quite right, this Labour government who were big on growth before they got elected, are now utterly devoid of hope in the country they run. See you were easily fooled then if after now you're only beginning to agree how dull and lacking in imagination him and his cabinet are. (naah naah n naah naah)

(naah naah n naah naah) Lets try not to trash this new conversation to early by making it personal. But yes I am saddened by the lack of action and the hope the public and business need. Maybe some Labour MP will read this and report up. I support labours desire to repair the NHS, deal with anxiety in children, re-build schools etc. But they must know none of this can be done without growth. I've seen no actions for growth. There has been much criticism and praise for Rachel Reeves re-definition of the countries debt and the release of a new £30bn of investment money. But nothing on what they are going to do with it. I am running this post in the other place as well, not as some gimmick, click bait etc, but to see the different views given.

If the government lacks imagination at this point then it’s unlikely they will gain it at any point . They will spend the whole term trying to justify their mistakes while making more .

Considering how bad it has been, I hope to god you are wrong. They are driven by ideology and are in an unassailable position for 5 years . It can only get worse .

Labour have oft been seen as the party of opposition, not least by themselves. And opposition is a luxurious place to be since you can promise anything without having to deliver. But now they're in charge and having to face the reality of actioning their promises. And that's tricky - and presumably why they've U-turned on so many. But then it's easy to criticise an incumbent and say: "We could do better". But actually doing better, with essentially the same resources, is somewhat more exacting. As they're now finding out.

‘They are already struggling!’ Pensioners delivered another ‘kick in the teeth’ from Labour after being left ‘terrified’ to switch on heating......

Blair managed it for over a decade. But you miss my point really, I'm saying at this point they should have fixed the country, what I want is to see them starting to do something beyond handing money out.

Starmer is up China's arsehole whilst shitting on the USA and betraying us to the EU. I support my country, but the regime in Westminster doesn't.

So far the government seems to think it can solve poverty by making everyone poorer, Solve global warming by making everyone colder and create social cohesion by suppressing free speech , particularly white free speech l It’s sixth form politics in action .

(naah naah n naah naah) IF people have been fooled by Labour in the first few months in office, it pales into insignificance compared to the improvements promised by outers nearly 4 years ago. It has always been obvious that Starmer is no Tony Blair. He is, hopefully, a deep thinker who knows how to improve the UK in more ways than one. Not helped by the state of the world, as in Germany making 950,000 workers redundant over the last four years, and America threatening huge hikes in terms of tariffs.

Ha ha ha, you just don't have a clue, that's probably why you create so many lies in your posts. Not unlike another Rightist on this forum. There are no lies in my post. They're the events that we have been a witness to. Not at all, The Tories lost a lot of core support because they were attempting to mimick New Labour's third way instead of acting on the mandates they were elected on, which cost them the election. This is why your response is ultra moronic.
Incorrect, they were once the most successful party in the country and have saved the UK from previous destructive Labour governments. Like I said in my last post you have been brainwashed by anti-Conservative fanatics, as in, indoctrinated to believe things that aren't true. This is why you cannot address my post competently, and why you will just troll and spam (a known far-left limitation).
We rely on the here and now, and the fact that their popularity is rock bottom, which proves they simply do not care what the people think of them. They lied through their teeth for power and it was literally a matter of weeks before they went back on all of the so-called promises they made and began attacking the vulnerable and our infrastructure.
This is what the Dartford Labour councillor said about working class white people: "we need to cut all their throats and get rid of them all". This demonstrates the fact that you're totally brainwashed.
Your earlier post was a pack of lies. The "here and now" LOL we have only had a very short period of Labour government with a huge dishonest and exaggerated attack on it. Only the most biased and brainwashed as shown in your posts, could fail to see it. Name one "seriously successful Tory government in power since 1950. It shows the fact that you do not have a clue about the reality.
