Nice work if you can get it The planning application for the Lower Thames Crossing has cost £300 Million - and for that not a single spade of dirt has been dug. And some pooh-pooh the idea of cutting waste.. Can that really be correct? I mean how on earth can a planning application cost £300 million? |

By comparison, £300 million is more than the cost of *actually building* the world's longest road tunnel in Norway. |

Everyone knows 1 diversity manager = 1 proton scanner. Everyone knows that one diversity manager is one too many. Well, everyone with any sense anyway. Surely if we got rid of them we wouldn't need more tax. Just think of all those proton scanners. And a Rainbow crossing = a new hospital. |
