To follow your logic ..let’s make cars without brakes ..someone will sort it out. No that's why we made brakes to sort it out. And keys to stop cars getting stolen. Do you think it’s beyond man to make a boom that is vandal proof. So cars aren’t stolen any more zany ? 🤪 When problems arise zany turns into Pollyanna and blithely moves on. |

Gosh, we're really having to scrape the bucket of negativity now. Its comic. I lived in areas of artisan terraced housing for 20 years in the south and the damage that was done on a regular basis. I could list if you want but personally there were at least 20 incidents of actual damage over that period and a protruding socket is a prime target. Just count the number of car aerials that were just broken by the casual passer by, scratches on cars, wing mirrors broken etc. They find something that works to really annoy, it is the nature of feral youth and you realistically have to recognise that. Fuel caps lock for a reason, aerials are on top for a reason, wing mirrors fold for a reason. Yes but Zany says someone will invent a vandal proof boom so there’s nothing to worry about cos zany says it .😁 |

I'd be surprised at this - allocating sections of public roads to individuals seems rather far fetched. Parking bays, not roads. As I say, they are already resident only, how do you think they know which cars belong to residents? Yes that's right you buy a permit from the council. And they sell far more permits than they have spaces - allocating sections of a public road to private individuals is a very inefficient way of using roadspace that is in very short supply. I simply do not see how this proposal could be made to work.  |
