One of my friends was behind the wheel of a lorry when a suicidal man stepped out in front of him. Absolutely horrible for anyone else to witness. But, if I had a terminal insufferable illness that was going to get worse and worse, I'd find a way to end it without leaving a firearm out to get stolen. I have, since my last post, found to my great relief that whatever the hell is messing up my lower jawline isn't the sort of life threatening it might have been. So I shall, it seems, have to plan to stop reeves screwing 20% of my unused pension pot when I go after all. As I've mentioned elsewhere, I've seen several violent traumatic deaths courtesy of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Unlike my former work colleague at my last place of employment, I've not yet had to decide CPR is pointless owing to the head being missing. That was a road accident, the head was 100 yards away. I have had the pleasure of witnessing a decapitation, a head first fall from ten floors and a lycra clad cyclist without a helmet slamming into a parked aggregate lorry at well over 30. Each was quite messy... Enough to persuade me in my darkest moments this was not the way.... I am, also, quite terrified of heights and not keen on pain.
