I didn't mean Tories moved to Labour. I meant they felt free to abandon the Tories and splinter without fear that this would allow Corbyn to get elected.

I may fall into this category. I didn't vote Labour but i did take my hands of the wheel to let the cards 'fall as they may'.

you didnt. You were implying starmer is better than corbyn , (he isnt  neither in terms of being a proper labour leader  , nor in terms of voters support where in both elections in 17 and 19 , he trounced starmer in terms of voters turning out to vote for him)and suggesting this was why  tories moved over to labour. ive addressed this earlier with my you gov link.

Labour didnt fall into place because of tory support , or corbyn no longer being there , or any other such bollocks.They fell into place purely and simply off the back of a dodgy out of date electoral system that is no longer fit for purpose.

 For starmer and his cronies , thats good. The bad side is 80% of the electorate dont support them , and will be baying for blood every time labour make a move in government. Reap what you fucking sow I say............

these people are mental. They really are.  The knots they tie themselves in trying to spin starmer and labours popularity , or at least "appeal" (to tory voters or snp voters) is fucking laughable  of the most deluded kind.

 I really want to know what deludamol tablets these folk are on . We are in for a fucking shit show for the next five years , and I can honestly see riots and civil disobedience breaking out pretty soon , with the lack of public support these labour clowns have.

 The tories and snp governments pissed off their voting base  .That voting base did not under any circumstances go en masse to labour to put them into power. 

 How Labour thought they could govern without any popular mandate is beyond me , and I suspect most others ,who are not smoking the same drugs the brothers and sisters are taking.

What's delusinal is to deny the fact that Labour attracted more votes than any other political party, in England, in Scotland and in Wales, and that is why they are now the governing party with a large majority.

The Conservative Party was reduced to 121 seats on a vote share of 23.7%, the worst result in its history.

In Scotland the Scottish National Party was reduced from forty-eight seats to nine and lost its status as the third-largest party in the Commons.

The main cause of this unusual result in England and Wales was the fact that instead of three major political parties, we had four, and Reform UK distorted the final result by ataining more votes than the Lib Dems. In Scotland I guess too many people believe that the SNP are a divided party and corrupt and returned back to Labour.

Yes - the result is unusual, but it was a fair win for Labour under the system we have got, the bottom line is that more people voted Labour than Tory, its that simple.
