Sorry Andrew are you actually saying the majority of the tory party is far right because that’s implied Well, let me rephrase it. People with more centrist views are being pushed out of the Tory Party. And to be fair there's quite a lot of posters on this forum who support exactly that. Define centrist views please.

Well tbh I think far right is an overused phrase, many useless buggers but far right? Nah

It's quite instructive that the posters on this forum who like the political ideals of Baroness Warsi are not Conservative supporters...

I guess it depends on where you draw the line and where you're looking from.

Here's another thing that is glaringly obvious, the English haters, and the diverse snowflake lefties who despise everything typically English can't wait to get their typically English titles ......... LOL but hey-ho it is the typical double standard lefty hypocrites so what more can you say.

That's why andrewbrown respects her. You mean she tries to fight racism, but was fighting a losing battle? Yes, possibly. I've always found her a reasoned person though, regardless of race or religion. Unfortunately there's too many people can't see past that. But she finds racism and Islamophobia everywhere and is a bit like Don Quixote as she tilted at windmills.

Probably because she's not actually a Tory. I’ve actually met her some years ago. I thought she was bright and pleasant person and I’ve come to the same opinion as she has. I, like her, supported a Tory party that aimed to make the county better for its inhabitants and increase opportunities for all. It also wanted to get on with its neighbours and be part of the outside world. But over the last decade, the party has become a collection of cronying opportunist populists... What, just like the current government (except minus the "Populists")?

She was indeed as a supporter of the Coconut case, The coconut slur specifically intimates that people can be one colour outside but behave as another colour which is their inside character. I cannot see how this slur cannot be anything but racist as it specifically requires that the colour of people fixes how they behave and being brown but behaving white is bad thing. It classifies colour as having one belief and it classifies behaving white as bad. I wonder if Andrew has a defence of this racial slur both on him and many on this forum.

She is actually one of the few Tories I actually respect. Probably because she's not far right. She does seem to have been fighting quite a battle in the last few years. Pull the other one Andrew there aren't any Tories any more. As for her, she'd see a return to blind eyes to islamic rapists of white kids and probably campaign for it...

www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0e1q5w0q9poIt seems the political appointee to the Lord's is abandoning the party that put her there saying, incredibly, they have moved to the far right I think since she no longer holds the party whip of the party that put her there, she should be chucked on the street You seem to see a clear distinction between the House of Lords and "the street", and to find the latter a more natural home for a disgruntled ex-politician. I'm not convinced of either of these views. Well I suppose I'm less than impressed with the 800 plus buggers sitting freeloading on our taxes...

Meh, good riddance to bad news. You're one of us or you're not. Its the tribal motto.
