Liverpool has a new mayor called 'Jo Anderson' but this Jo is a she, apparently central government has had to send a special team in to investigate irregularities under the new mayors watch. I wonder if Labour will try to blame the Tories for this one lol

The SNP also try to blame the Tories for their mismanagement, it's high time central government sent a SFO team to investigate their finances, the people of Scotland are being robbed by their leaders.

I just wonder if Labour run councils purposely rack up big debt just so they can blame the Tories.
Labour are trying to blame the Tories for the strikes, people use to fall for it but they are wising up to it now, they can see the Labour, the Unions and strikes are politically motivated to bring down the Tories, if they think this will win them the next GE they are delusional.

Indeed, you can just smell the hypocrisy. They are blaming Tories for those who could die because these blighters find a reason not to work. You only have to read the social media to understand this is a kind of pseudo military style political plot to bring the country to its knees, ostensibly so they can then be elected into power and screw it up some more.

Mike Lynch has told striking railway workers/postal workers/binmen to claw back the money they have lost in wages by claiming more overtime pay, this is the mentality of the Unions, so now they will work weekends probably on time and half to make up for the strikes, as far is the Royal mail are concerned they are already finished.
I have had emails actually saying 'Dear customer we will no longer be using the services of the Royal Mail for our delivery service'
When thousands are made redundant next year due to business cancellations they will know who to thank for it ........ Mike Lynch. ..In fact they might even form their own Lynching mob.

Just as in the Winter of Discontent, the strikes are a response to the rising cost of living.

I mentioned earlier on another thread the fact that Mick Lynch was up until quite recently the darling of the media, Channel 4, BBC and so on fawning all over him, I saw him being interviewed the other day and he is looking very rattled. It is dawning on him that he took on the law and the law won, nobody cares about the Post Office, everyone sends emails and courier services do the rest, our postie only shoves shite cateloges through the letter box which go straights into recycle, so if it goes so what.
The interesting one is the NHS, everyone knows it is rubbish, it is wasteful, badly managed and completely inefficient, the one thing that has stopped it from being sorted out is the bizarre myth that it is our special NHS, I think that nurses claiming 19% pay rise, going on strike and people dying will be the fuse of change being lit. Mick Lynch could be the man who caused the NHS to be sorted out, I bet he didn't see that coming.

I've been watching what Hermes do. They have built a massive modern depot in Bristol and are clearly expanding their business which keeps on getting cheaper for the customer as the efficiencies brought about by investment factor in. The government needs to do a Thatcher job on the unions which will result in an economic recovery having blasted out all the revolutionary Marxist types. It will take some time, but we do see public support chipping away. The public are their own worst enemies for supporting poverty. They keep on doing it.

We hope and pray that the public will come to their senses.

I record delivered first class a letter on 4/12 at the post office, I did a track and trace yesterday 'it's still with the royal mail'.
I rang customer service, and after 46 mins listening to music I was answered, only to be told if it still hadn't been received by the 17/12 I can make a claim.
I don't want to make a bloody claim I want my letter delivering, it's not about compo it's about me wanting a important letter safely reaching its destination, I will clearly have to find other means of posting my important mail.

These couriers are now delivering small parcels for under £2. They have this economy service which is pretty good and how it seems to work here is they will have 1-2 devilries per week, so average delivery times are about 4 days from order to receipt, and now perhaps more like a 3 working day average. My experience on reliability was that in the past it was a bit hit and miss but now it is coming up good every time. For your £2 or less you now get a full tracking service and emails telling you which hour it will arrive. If you posted a letter and paid for tracking I think it would cost you more at the Post Office. You also get photographic proof of the delivery.

Labour are proposing to move power away from westminster to local authorities Wise move. The ones in Westminster couldn’t organise a piss up in a pub.
