Even if all your numbers are correct, in a crisis where your average person on minimum wage is struggling to pay skyrocketing energy costs and food prices, £1000 per household to pay nurses, who already earn far more than them, is simply money they can't afford. Governments do not have money. And the reason the UK is in this mess. Is down to them. As nurses have to use food banks. There are more of them in England than MacDonald's. And as I have stated the UK was only 4% reliant on Russia for energy . Till they closed the Gas storage facility. www.theguardian.com/society/2022/nov/10/nurses-among-rising-numbers-of-workers-using-food-banks-research-shows

The price of oil and gas relates to the regional supply and demand. Russia is a huge energy producer so it show the bulk of journalists are full of shit. What has happened is Russia now sells more energy to Asia and so Asian manufacturing is now more competitive than the Europeans lot who created their own handicap.

And another meaningless diatribe from the Keyboard Diarrhoeaist. Tell me - have you cut the bottom off your doors yet? I hear that wee Krankie's cut the bottoms off her drawers and there's still no takers. Why d'ye reckon that is? A Nigel the one line wonder. All statements and no substance. Do explain why you consider it diatribe. In terms of Wee Krankie. I would not kick her out of bed to get to you. Or do you consider you are the Earl Flynn of the working girls. Tell me something is there any point on you being on here. You contribute absolutely nothing but Diarrhoeaist one line wonder utter diatribe. Going back to the doors and Covid. It would have worked. Why do you reckon it would not have. That is a question. Unlike bin liners that had to be used with big Krankie Bojoke. And his billion's worth of PPE that will have to be destroyed. But meanwhile for over a year is stored costing the tax payer £700.000 a day. Why d'ye reckon that is? www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-60246163theglobalherald.com/news/angela-rayner-tories-are-wasting-700000-a-day-on-useless-ppe/

Ah Nigel the one line wonder. More meaningless diatribe from the Keyboard Diarrhoeaist. So I take it you are not going to answer the question I asked on the drivel you posted. On how cutting of the bottom of doors would not work. Or are you going to explain how bin liners were wonderful against Covid. Or explain the sense of storing billions of useless PPE at the cost of £700,000 a day. Nor have you answered, and I will ask again. Is there any point on you being on here. You contribute absolutely nothing but Diarrhoeaist one line wonder utter diatribe. As you have done again. You do no even know your left wing from your right wing. You say you were a civil servant. I get the servant bit. Why d'ye reckon that is?

I never denied posting ‘ Ours do’. I denied referencing an alleged ability to organise piss ups in breweries . Keep it up Steve . 👍 That maybe what you meant to say but not what you actually said as the clear image evidence shows. You've spent pages denying what you actually posted. How sad. The penny hasn’t dropped yet. How sad . You’ve spent pages falsely telling me what I have posted . How pathetic….but funny 🤡

Look you did post it and I made a joke of it. You then denied you'd posted it and kept digging getting ever more toxic. Move on and deal with the real issue. Local authorities have a poor record.

You .”.Well if your local authority is as you suggest so experienced in organising piss ups in breweries maybe you should be complaining about them.” You falsely claimed that my post “ Ours do” has experience in organising piss ups in breweries. You have been making that false claim for page after page . Your false claim is actually two false claims . You didn’t make a joke of it. You tried to win points by taking taking an idiom literally and ended up making yourself look a bit of a knob.

Local authorities have a poor record. You have been whining about this government for years . Now it’s the local authorities..? So? If you care to look I've also defended central government at times over the years. I have a view that Local governments have a very poor record mainly for the structural reasons that condemn them to be so poor. Anyone that remembers Derek Hatton or Grenfell knows how so many local authorities really aren't subject to effective electoral scrutiny. The demographic variations give many of them an effectively unchallengeable position because so many people vote locally on national party lines ignoring local performance. Add to that the workload compared to low funding, the syphoning off of real talent to better careers and the scope for all sorts of dodgy dealings (mainly on planning) and they just are not well placed to take on extra work as has been happening over the years and some are proposing to take further.

I don’t see any indication that Labour is proposing to do this the day after they come to power. If they do this then I suspect that there would be a restructuring of the system .

Maybe change the system first so it's capable. IMHO in such a dense packed country that electoral issue is always going to limit accoutability
