Starmer does not speak to the SNP. The SNP do not want to be in Westminster. So the 3 Britnat amigos, Starmer, Brown and Sarwar like you ranting Unicorns, Moonbeams and castles in the sky. Ah the new powers. Offering the abolition of the House of Lords. The policy of Labour for 112 years. Remember the Vow. The prospect of Home rule and increased security in the EU. Including Greater London there are nine of them. Like Scotland which is not a region of England. Will be given a black grant. The trouble is. Despite the fanny being spewed. Scotland pays its way in the Uk and contributes on average some 9.6% of all UK tax with 8.4% of the population. That being under present constitutional arrangements. Try trebling that in reality. That then posses the question. Greater London which is the most subsidised junkie region in the world earns nothing. London's welfare bill is more than the defence budget. The link is several years old. As I understand it is now in the region of £60 billion. It is a collection point. All Regions in England have at least twice and in some cases like the NE three times the so called deficit of Scotland. So going by population share as in Scotland, not what it earns. London will lose out. And the subsidy junkies there whre all the money arrives, like their London weighting paid for by me and you. Will make sure it does not happen. Heads you lose.. tails you lose. It is then left to business rates and local rates in the regions to be raised.
