Carol Vorderman blasts Keir Starmer's Labour after critic fumes 'backed wrong horse' Carol Vorderman warned Sir Keir Starmer's Labour government urging them to "look after voters".
LOL... most of us savvies on this site knew exactly what we had in store under a Labour 'Regime' ... the rest of you were sleepwalking into disaster.

She always was a clueless minger preaching from her celebrity tower. If she wasn't such a dunce she wouuld take note that only 20% of eligible voters went for Starmer, and this was after he and his totalitarian regime was appeasing the Islamists for votes.

The July deficit figure as released by the OBR showed a £3.1 Billion difference between income to the Treasury and what the government was spending.
If repeated month on month, this would be a staggering £36 Billion annual deficit, but it seems the accurate figure is more like £20 Billion.
Everyone protests that the Winter Fuel Payment is to be taken from most pensioners, despite pensioners receiving over £900.00 rise in pensions this year, and more big rises to come.
People dont want defence to be cut people dont want income tax to rise or National Insurance We cannot cut our public services any more, they have been cut and cut and neglected for 14 years
WHERE is the money or savings going to come from ? ... the deficit is a Conservative deficit, handed to the new government from the previous government, yet they protest at any and every effort to address the situation.
The Winter Fuel Payment is one of the least worst options, partly because pensioners are guaranteed generous rises in pensions every year, and partly because there are other benefits that low income pensioners can claim, and partly because the least well off will continue to get the Winter Fuel Payments.
More is coming, because it has to, because a deficit is continually adding to National Debt, probably a hit to CGT, and probably a hit on Inheritance Tax and more.

I've worked with too many people whose IQ is a whole other level above what I was measured at when I was in Uni Frankly, they're so far up the stratosphere they have no grip on reality. Lovely people most of them, but I wouldn't trust them to babysit a five year old because none of them have the common sense to understand a chainsaw is inherently dangerous And no I'm not taking the piss I'm referring to actual people hired by the REAL GCHQ at Hanslope Park to break ciphers and shit, every one of them OVER grandad's IQ and barking bloody mad as a result Now although I've met her, back when she was being paid to front the advertising campaign for FirstPlus seconds secured mortgages, I didn't have time to get a proper opinion. She's MENSA of course, but is she barking MENSA like the Hanslope Parkas ? I don't know

Get over it, either way you were going to get conned, nothing new in that, but then most people knew that.

You could scrap the £11.7 Billion you are intending to give to foreign countries in 'Climate Aid' - that would make it unnecessary to remove money from poor pensioners. But Labour have made the (political) decision to prioritise foreigners over our own old people.

Wtichfinder, it's ok to not like the Tories, but don't pretend that Labour are any better.
We kicked the Tories out, but Starmer got his majority with one of the most woefully bad votes in history.
For comparison, Boris got just under 14 million votes in 2019. Starmer got fewer than 10 million. He got fewer votes than Jeremy Corbyn at his 2019 worst. Labour are utterly shit and the country knows it. Nineteen million chose not to vote.
There's a reason Labour spent 14 years in opposition and they have not learned anything.

A plus in maths, D minus in politics. Just like her successor Riley. Well to be fair to the girl she is not the first person to get buyers remorse about a Labour government. Having spent years shilling for Labour reality has a way of kicking you when they finally get some power.
