If Starmers economic advisors are right, and if this government manages to kick start growth figures... Growth, LOL! That would be a first for any Labour government. If only they had a plan, eh?

Labour won't save the planet and they won't save the economy.
They'll just make the average Brit's life even more depressing, and of course this will be sprinkled with identity politics like the two-tier policing we've seen.
The underpinning philosophies of Labour's green industrial strategy, and its other inventions to 'kickstart growth' are 'diversity, equity and inclusion rules along with environmental, social and government principles; this of course will demand public
taxpayer money to be wasted which generate poor returns.
Labour's recipe is for poverty not prosperity.
If you can, leave Britain while you are able too. And before Starmer agrees with the thinktank who want to tax you and your assets for exiting the country.

It doesn't benefit Labour unless people are in poverty, they need lower classes as their voters, if everyone was well off there would be no need for a socialist party.
Going back to 1900 yes Labour probably was the party of the poor, they probably did care and they weren't being paid offensive incomes to do so, in fact most were doing it voluntarily, because back then people were really poor, and there was a clear class distinction, but we aren't in 1900 it's 2024, where our very own LABOUR Chancellor has just cut winter fuel payment for pensioners while claiming £4400 heating allowance for her SECOND residence,
Labour has some of the wealthiest people in politics, including its former Labour leader Tony Blair, who is estimated to be worth over £90 million, and he hasn't earned through hard honest work. It's the same reason Labour don't want Grammar Schools or private education, they need to keep people dumbed down, even under Tony Blair regime he would never have dreamt of cutting winter fuel payments for pensioners, and in fact his Labour government would never have allowed it.
Labour are the new Tories, they are the party of austerity cuts, the party of champagne socialism, there is no longer any political party that represents the poor or working classes, because none of them know the meaning of the word poor.

Now Starmer is claiming he needs freebies for security reasons... His fucking sense of self entitlement is so ingrained that he says stuff like that and doesn’t realise he’s digging himself deeper into the hole .

Hmm, Rightists throwing shit at Labour has been the norm for generations, I wouldn't expect anything different today. Well, so is leftists throwing battery acid at Leavers. That doesn't change the observed facts though does it. Starmer is pissing his energy up the wall being nice to people whose love of the federalist fascism of the EU means they have no power to depart from the Euro-Federal party line The only explanation that makes any sense is his belief he has career prospects inside their tent Hopefully he will fuck off and join their band of ECHR Arse Kissers using legal qualifications that remain in place after the resurrection that will be needed when the party crucify him for failing to bring the benefits his wholesale murder of pensioners promised

I havent read the above book, but this one is an excellent read... It is indeed. I was the first to borrow it from our library and I instantly recognised the issues she raised in regard to our politicised civil service. Any who want to cast criticism of her observation in that regard might on well to explain how fir literally decades no British border force has ever been allowed to land half drowned rats at Calais but suddenly ten minutes after Starmervtakes over they can, and without any 'permisdion' from the french

But like waiting for the benefits of Brexit, it seems we should also wait and see the benefits, or not, of Starmer's ideas. Which should at least be less than eight years.

It must be a bit depressing always looking to denigrate Labour. But like waiting for the benefits of Brexit, it seems we should also wait and see the benefits, or not, of Starmer's ideas. Which should at least be less than eight years. The benefits of Brexit are here already. We can make all our own laws, rules and regulations and make our own decisions. All we need now is a government that will do that. They are going to have to. Starmer has just been over to the EU to chat them up. He has met with a number of national leaders in individual trips, but had not talked to the EU body that deals with it. The reaction is now unpleasant and these visits are counterproductive since there is uproar in the EU that he is going behind their backs and what it means essentially is if any country did a deal outside of the EU political body then it would be illegal, so it is viewed as him asking members to break EU law. As anyone but a clown can see, this is not helping UK-EU relations and coming from a lawyer too, it is clear this is not just an innocent mistake on his part. Well it might be, cos there is always the theory that he was never smart enough to do the DPP job anyway and was just shoed in to make it more leftwing! Either way, he has come unstuck. They see him as a snake.
